We went into this game seriously handicapped. We were missing our best offensive and defensive player. I am appreciative we showed up to play and didn't roll over when this game should've been a blown out. Although I would've preferred a win, can't say I am upset we came a bit short.

Give credit to the defensive staff.....they got waaay more out of this skeleton crew defense than anyone could have expected. When they are running guys out there that I have no clue who they are, that is pretty crazy. To me, this defensive staff can come back with new personell....Garrett needs to GO ASAP. Horrible.

Yup. Defensive coaches did their jobs but they will take the blame instead of Garrett

Kudos to the defense and Orton. They both had me worried, but they both came through. Now for the negatives:

Abandoning the run did us in again. Murray was running well. We should've ran it on that 4th and 1. Even if we failed, that wouldn't been a better call. How many rushes did we have in the 4th quarter? Granted the pass was working, but we had an empty backfield much of the time. Philly knew the pass was coming. Why not keep them guessing? We could've won with TDs instead of FGs and the turnovers were brutal. With all that went wrong tonight, I say the difference in the game was coaching. Garrett doesn't learn from his mistakes.

And don't get me started on that delay of game bull. Glad we scored anyway.

I'm never happy with a loss but the Cowboys played hard. The effort was there.

Too many backups playing on defense which is how you get players like Heath getting burned like stogies in the Eagles locker room tonight. Injuries killed us and you can't plug and play off the street.

Combine that with suspect coaching and horrible time management skills and you have a recipe for mediocrity.

The offensive line played a heck of a game today. They gave Orton plenty of time on almost all of his 46 attempts.

Orton played a big role too... he got the ball out extremely fast all night.
