News from the front lines of the NFL:

Glenn's injury is a prime example why we need to draft a WR No. 1 in the next draft.
And when you factor in T.O.'s/Parcell's volatilities, the need becomes even more glaring.
Picture this: Parcells gets tired of T.O.'s act(s) and Glenn goes down for a season and we have . . . Hurd and Crayton?
We need a blue-chip WR. And another from free agency for good measure.

Injuries occur to every team - you can't have blue chippers waiting in the wings at every position.

I agree that WR needs to be looked at next year simply because TO and Glenn are older, but the truth is that there is no glaring need at this point and our depth at WR is pretty solid.

There is a reason Parcells kept Hurd and Miles in Dallas and Parcells doesn't usually say the things has been saying about Miles lately unless he actually has some belief in them.

We should probably see what these two guys have before we start looking to replace them. There aren't many rookie WR that are sure things anymore it seems.

I think we have a bigger glaring need at NG. Fergy is playing well, but we pretty much have nobody behind him.

I also think we need another 3-4 DE as well. Kenyon Coleman is only good in a spare role, but we need one more good body to get better penetration and help out in the nickel than what we are getting from Canty and Spears right now.

Still, I'd like to see us get a new D-Coordinator. I believe if we could do a *decent* job at disguising our blitzes, we'd be at least 5-3 right now if not 6-2. We don't create enough opportunities on defense because we can't get to the QB on a consistent basis because our blitz disguise blows. If those were reversed, you'd be seeing the secondary making more plays and teams wouldn't be able to use double moves on Henry quite as effectively.

Give me some OL help in 2 of the first 3 rounds.

Then watch and see if a younger WR on the roster now (Hurd, Austin) will step up.

I agree about NT, but with Hatcher, Ratliff and Colemen we should be okay at DE.

Frankly I've been pleasantly surprised by Coleman this year. I was all for letting him go, but in the limited playing time he's received he has done well.

THIS is the priority - and not only a need for depth like with WR, but we need starter upgrades as well.
