It's no you . . . you are exactly right. If we play better than the Titans and Pacman does not get reinstated, it's almost as if Tennesee paid us to take him off their hands. We will get a higher 4th round pick than the one we gave up in 2008.

That's actually a sweet deal.

that's why i don't believe it. i'd say a 6th rounder is where it winds up.

Maybe the Titans believe that Pacman will be reinstated for sure? And they just included that part of the deal because Jerry made them?

You wanna laugh?....

I hope TO takes Pacman under his wing.

Now that Pacman is a Cowboy and the fact that he hasnt played in a year plus.... I want him on TO's workout regimen.

Pac is young... he could really benefit from a Really efficient workout routine

Totally worth it. Our 5th was the 1st pick in the round, so we basically only gave up about 5 draft spots between our 5th and our 6th. Plus we have a chance to get our pick back next year if PM isn't reinstated. Nice~ I'd like to know more details on that part for sure.

I would think its going to be minimum base pay with incentives that could get the value back to his old contract.

It better be. No signing bonus. Make him earn it every game.

I doubt he sees his old salary this side of two or three years. I'm sure Jerry got his. I'm sure that Pacman will get some reward for being good. All good children do. Don't they.

And as long as I've been doing this, it still amazes me why some fan of another team has to go to another board to get his goodies. What a tool.

How about a little credit to the guy who made the deal happen: Jerry Jones.

Jerry Jones is THE best Owner/GM in the NFL!

is it me or if we finish with a better record than tennessee, then say he doesn't work out and we get their 4th back, won't we in effect be moving up in the draft to take that chance to begin with?

Never thought of it that way. Good thinking.
(guess that's why you get the big bucks)

At least you correctly noted that we are America's Team instead of America's joke: the Commanders.

How's your pathetic franchise doing these days?

Call me when you can win more than one Super Bowl in a non-strike-shortened season.

Pacman is a POCrap lowlife criminal thug.

My team is doing fine:

4/6 vs their arch rival
2 playoff appearances in 3 years with a postseason win

Can the Cowboys say that?

Actually they aren't really equal when you consider it like the time value of money (draft picks). When trading picks, a pick for the following year is always worth a round less than the year of the draft. So in that way, the Titans do get an advantage, but our advantage is of course we get to have a chance to have another #1 CB on the squad this year to see how it works out.

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -- The Washington Commanders added a free agent for the first time this offseason Friday, signing receiver and former Pro Bowl kick returner Jerome Mathis.

Mathis has had two recent run-ins with the law. In December, he received a misdemeanor citation after his pit bull chewed through a fence and was behaving aggressively. In February, he was charged with assaulting his pregnant common-law wife.

you guys had a thug on your team last year, someone who threatened some people with a gun in public if I recall. But I cant say anything bad about him because he had a really, really bad injury and he's not on the team any longer

Don't stoop to that idiot's level. Using ST is not really cool.

From what I understand, from the ESPN report on this, the 4 year deal is with no guarunteed money. If that is true, and it's basically the 4 year deal for what his base salaries would have been without any bonus or anything, this is a STEAL for a young corner. That is, of course, assuming he gets back on the field and stays out of trouble for 4 years. Then it could wind up being a really big steal for Dallas.

This is the best response i've seen to that. I love it when people talk smack about thugs being on a team and then totally try to ignore the fact that they also have them on theirs.

Nice.

Just now on ESPN:

Werder said we get a 4th next year if he doesn't play, and if plays a partial season and gets benched (disciplinary actions), we get a 5th rounder next year.

Fine? Actually, your franchise is a piece of garbage. And they are 36 out 92 with their arch rival for a 39% winning percentage against their arch-rivals. For those that are bad at math, that means your team loses 61% of the time it plays its arch rival. Not much of a rivalry, then.

Let me know when you get within 20 games of us head-to-head.

I often wonder how stupid Commanders can be. Seriously.

They want to talk as if they are on our level or anywhere close to as competitive.

How moronic does someone have to be to talk trash when their team is losing the all-time head-to-head matchup 36-56. That's not even close. That's rape-age. That's complete owning. How could one talk trash in light of that? Then you talk about Super Bowls and your team has only 3 (only 1 during a real season) and the other team has a NFL-leading 5 Lombardis... how could someone talk trash when their team is inferior there?

Anyone with an ounce of sense can acknowledge that your franchise is our franchise's b**ch.

How does it feel knowing that you cheer for an inferior team?

Selective Memory we have now?
Tell me can the Commanders match this:

12 straight wins against their arch rival during a span of 6 years

5 Superbowl rings
8 Superbowl appearances
The Most Monday night Victories
The sexiest cheerleaders in all of the world
28 playoff appearances
Including 9 straight playoff appearances
...

i could go on and on and on, but that would be embarrassing

Maybe when your team becomes more than the toliet of the Dallas Cowboys you can come back and talk noise. Till then, sit and stew on our greatness, and contplemlate whether or not you should jump ship. Cause Ring #7 and appearance #9 is on the way.
