I was wrong about Bledsoe. While I stand behind my contention that Buffalo's defense and special teams were huge contributors to their 9-2 record down the stretch last season, Bledsoe is playing much better for Parcells in Dallas than he ever did in Buffalo. His performance so far has easily exceeded what I expected of him.

Yes Nors...this is hard, but I was wrong. :sshhh:

Waffle - season is long and I just want to see this team win and contend. I am almost somewhat suprised how effective Bledsoe has been.

Hopefully we can keep protecting Drew and attacking. Even better news is JJ has yet to really go off. Soon D's are going to have to start stopping Drew and at that point wham JJ goes off for 150-200.

everyone should be suprised, when Parcells brought in Bledsoe, he still was using the bus-driver terms

I went out on the ledge for Bledsoe - I saw in the stadium Drew do all this in person. I really never doubted he had the heart or talent to do this. So far so good - Parcells is pushing the right buttons. Now if we can open it up another notch we can really start to put points up - and let our D mature.

Do you think some of that was a little psychological games? I do, Parcells knows what type of quarterback drew is afterall he did draft him #1 overall in the 93 draft...

I think Glenn's performance has been especially interesting because he just keeps getting better with age. Despite some injuries over the years, he's on pace for a career year. That, to me, has been the most surprising thing about this season. I knew he was talented, but didn't think he could put up this kind of production through five games.

Dale - you are lucky enough to be on the field and at the games. I too was luck enough to sit at 15 yard line 15 rows up and watch Glenn a lot 96-00.

What is AMAZING about him is his seperation. He flat out is man up almost uncoverable. That was apparant fast and teams started doubling him and taking him out of game some. No sense messing with him....

Now with JJ, Witten its almost like teams have overlooked him and he's man on man and eating up corners. Pick your poison! Roll safety over him you have Witten and JJ now jamming it down your throat!

Chess match - we have the pieces now.....

true, just saying that us fans, out of the loop, that we should be suprised by how he's doing, no indication was given as to how well he would do

The irony about all this is I briefly chatted with Drew's dad during training camp, and he predicted all of this. I know, I know...he's his dad. What was he going to say? But the things he said were spot on, and from my past encounters with him, he's a pretty straight forward kind of guy.

He kept saying that Terry Glenn is one of the most underrated players in the league, that people simply do not understand what kind of talent he is.

Not to reveal too much of what was said, but he said this would be Drew's best season considering all that was in place around him. He definitely knew what he was talking about.

Gave me chills at the time just thinking about the possibilities. Still does.

good call, I sure didn't, I was just expecting, and was quite content if he were just able to "drive the bus", but I also thought our D would be off to a faster start too, and the running game would be better lol

I understand what the surprise is to most fans as Drew has been portrayed as washed up for years now by the establishment media. It is probably a paramount surprise to see him perform like this to most fans who essentially took what the media said for granted. And those who just didn't care about bledsoe or follow him whatsoever before he came to dallas.

Great insight and thanks for sharing. I think Mac was expressing what I was - what an untapped and gifted receiver Glenn is. My point to this thread was the click that Bledsoe and Glenn have. The timing, big plays they are hitting are borne of familiarity and mutual comfort level.

Teams will start to try and take Glenn away - thats when we adapt and attack elsewhere. I'm imemsely enjoying this season so far.

Last year I went into Minny game knowing we would get drilled and were going to be a bad team. Listless season. I'm hoping we can ramp it up and start stringing W's.

When teams start taking away Glenn is when I hope we can somehow manage to get Price into the game in place of Crayton, at times. I like Crayton, but I really want to see Glenn, Key and Price on the field together -- especially considering the connection Bledsoe has with Glenn and Price.

Good stuff.

I'm surprised Bledsoe and Glenn have played this well.

Glenn has great hand-eye coordination and is just a natural receiver. I've seen him have stretches like this, but then something always happens. He gets hurt.

Hopefully, he can stay in one piece this year and Bledsoe can keep playing like he's playing.

This Price signing - and BP's snap on Crayton and his fumbling issues.

I wonder if in a twisted we we're holding Price back for second half of season - rested legs. And Spell Glenn, Key and add an element thats not been gameplanned and studied by Opponents.

His whole sign and sit is odd to me. But he was smiling all game with the players on sidelines.

I think Parcells has future plans for Price, he wouldn't give him 2 mil to have him sit and watch, and then leave
