Glimmer of Hope if we Dominate Raiders, Somehow

So, this Raiders team. Not very good. But how many of you will have a glimmer of hope for this team if we stomp the Raiders?

We'll only be 4-5-1 then, and just one game back from .500.

With this defense, I think it's a close game. But I can see a scenario where the Cowboys blowout the Raiders and fans start rallying.

What if Bobby Belt was right?

Meh, of course, this is just the homer in me talking. But I'm also a realist and unless we have big changes on defense, I just can't see us getting her done for the playoffs this year even if we do beat da Raiders.

Eagles have that dumb kind of luck.

Lions losing was actually better for our playoff chances. We have a chance, however small, of catching the Lions if they struggle. The division, and the Eagles, are pretty much out of reach at this point

I like this kind of breakdown. To the point and informative. And, yeah, the playoff picture for Dallas is grim. In reality. Because we've already endured the losses.

I wouldn't say that. 2021 they blew our doors off on Thanksgiving. Last time we played this QB he lit us up with the Immortal Micah Parsons on the field(what was Bill Barnwells made up stat?)

It seems as though defenses are beginning to get a bead on this offense. So we may have some bigger issues than just the defense in the second half of the season. The raiders are horrible. However, after the raiders, we should get a read on how good this offense/Shotty really is. Buckle your seatbelts.

How many times do you go for a 4th down conversion and not get it before you get the message. Yes Dan you are an aggressive risk taker but being aggressive and being stupid are 2 different things. That was so frustrating to watch.

If we don’t win this game then I think we will be a five win team at best, and that’s being generous. I can see maybe, and a stiff maybe, beating the Commanders and Giants.

If our defense doesn’t show anything against Geno and the Raiders offense with our new acquisitions and returning players then this season is truly over and Eberflus should not be on the plane home. The Raiders are bad. Geno is not playing good.

I don't believe Schotty is the best option as head coach for the Cowboys. I wanted Mike Vrabel as head coach. Even he was interested in coaching the Cowboys. Too bad Jerry never called him. Jerry stayed with who he can control and is comfortable: Schotty.

Now, we see what Vrabel has done with the Patriots in only one offseason and training camp. Turned the 2024 4 - 13 Patriots team (coached by Jerod Mayo) into a current 9 - 2 Patriots team with a 5th overall ranked Offense and an 8th overall ranked Defense.

Many here didn't want Mike Vrabel when mentioned early this past Spring after last season ended. I bet most everyone regrets that decision now.

Jerry clearly messed up BIG TIME, hence why we are where we are. Whoever gives him advice should have been fired a long time ago.
