We are here - today and our season hinges.

This season can go two very diverse different paths.


1) We lose, D plays bad, Bledsoe and offense suck. Gloomers and doubters go off on ES type rants well into next Wednesday. We miss playoffs and 6 months of "dispair" and name blame. The fire Parcells, Zimmy rants go on and on. Trade for Howard and go back to the 4-3 and keep Glovy posts start. Long offseason that offers little resolution and begs for knee jerk.

2) We beat a playoff team in Carolina which likely gets us to 10-6 and in playoffs. Imagine that! What a difference one game can make on this season. To win today we need players and coaches to step up. Will those guys get the love they deserve if they do? Nowhere near the venom they will get if #1 transpires.

Once in the tournament option 2 could go as positive as a trip in February to the land North and cold albeit West of Mikiland.

This has been a rollercoaster ride that in 3 hours can have us right back on the edge of our seats. Heck I'm standing all game and watching. Gloomers and doubters - get the heck off your ***** and for 3 hours enjoy this season today. Its all on the line and "Maybe" we take the moment TODAY. Yesterday means nothing at kickoff.

As you know General Patton wished for an unlikely weather break during the Battle of the Bulge and got it... so maybe a Cowboy's victory isn't so far-fetched.

The Americans....are the foremost mechanics in the world. America, as a nation, has the greatest ability for mass production of machines. It therefore behooves us to devise methods to exploit our inherent superiority. We must fight the war by machines on the ground and in the air.


Parcells to my eyes has not been doing that in road games. He's doing something "different" gameplanning on the road. JMO

Exploit our strengths today. Parcells for all his foils spent time at Navy and is well schooled and aware of everything Patton ever wrote or did...... I suspect the Tuna has our team ready today. I feel very good today about our chances.

I really don't want Carolina to kick us out of the Playoffs for a 3rd time. We're not facing them in the Playoffs, but lose this game and that's what happens. Go Cowboys!

I love this post by Nors. And it's right on the nose. This game will tell us one thing for sure. ANd that is what kind of team this is. Are we the kind of team that is on the edge of being real good like when we lost the close ones. Or is this a team that is just over that edge like when we won thos close games. Could we be that team that won blow outs like the First Eagles game and Cards game? Or are we the team that has a long ways to go like the team that showed up last Sunday?

To be honest, I think we are the team that is just about ready to become a very good team with a few needs being addressed. I think we can win today. I don't think we get blown out. If we lose it will be close. If we win, it will be close as well. Either way, today we will see what kind of Character this team has.

I also think there will be several player who will be auditioning for next year.

He is not a great QB and he has faded down the stretch like he has done a lot in years past.

For some unknown reason the olines look worse when he starts than other QB's
