I am curious to see who you guys think the "Big 3" of Goff, Lynch and Wentz most likely resemble TODAY that has come out before them. For example, none of them would be compared to Andrew Luck who was almost universally viewed as a can't miss prospect.

They seem to be more comparable to Brock Osweiler or Mettenberger than than Andrew Luck. This should give us some idea of their comparative worth (or value) in terms of where they should probably be drafted. I think this is a much more valuable exercise than just choosing one because we "won't get another chance to draft this high for years". That is desperation and unsound reasoning.

If this were the draft with Marino, would any of them be drafted in the first 3 rounds? Are these guys the real deal, or just the prettiest girl at a lackluster party? Let's hear your thoughts on the matter.

Goff - Nick Foles, bubble screen and quick routes. When he's forced to make more than one read we see what happened in the utah game. Goff needs to be in a spread offense.

Wentz - Derek Carr, nice mechanics smart with the ball but plays too robotic at times

Lynch - Osweiler, This guy is basically a clone of Ocweiler IMO

I'm on my phone so I can't post and search and do all that stuff thats so easy to do on the computer but I will say this... There's a post right here in the zone from someone that compares Lynch goff and went Wentzel and shows markedly how much weaker goff is than the other two

Found it...

ok, a team beat writer as opposed to people that focus just on the draft....

curious why the ONE Eagles team writer's opinion weighs more than all the other scouting reports I provided?

I'm not sure why I'm responding to this but here goes anyways.... If you can't see that Goff's arm is markedly inferior to Wentz or Lynch then it is obviously an agenda you're pushing or you're trolling. To say Goff has the strongest arm of the bunch is just like saying that Alex Smith has the strongest arm in the NFL. I shouldn't have to go find a scouting report from a professional scout to illustrate what is so patently obvious. Dane Brugler did a piece on DC.com with the guys there talking about the relative strengths and weaknesses of the prospects and arm strength was not one of Goff's in fact he says flat out that Wentz and Lynch are stronger. He does admit that Goff can get stronger but by no means does he have the strongest arm in the draft or even amongst these three. I'm not going to spend time trying to find validation when the argument isn't even close.

He said Goff had a "hell of an arm". He never said it was strongest of the bunch. You said it was among the weakest in the draft and now you seem to be changing that to a three man comparison. Don't expand his comment and reduce yours man.

His throwing and foot work seem to look the same. Similar body type.
