Are we going to play to win & score every time we have the football or are we going to pump the breaks on our offense the entire game like we did against the Chiefs and Chargers?

Seriously? Of course we will play down to the level of our opponents. We are the Dallas Cowboys! Poor GM and worse coaching. What else would you expect?

The Bronco's pass defense was ranked 30th going into the game yesterday. They are currently ranked 32nd after the Cowboys game.

Im not surprised either because they have been playing with such big leads.

They've been generating a lot of turnovers though. If you're outscoring you're opponents like they are then you're going to give up yards defensively.

Broncos look like a higher-powered version of the 2011 Packers. Packers had the #1 offense and pretty much the 32nd ranked defense. They went 15-1 and scored the 2nd most points in NFL history.

When they got into the playoffs and the weather isn't as good, especially considering they play at Lambeau, the high powered high flying offenses aren't able to put up 50. To win a Superbowl your defense is typically going to have to win a game or two. The Packers 2011 defense failed them miserably and from what I've seen from the 2013 Broncos, they are heading that way too.

I posted this in another thread, but I'll post here as well.
Dallas thought this conservative approach would work because they were relying on there defense to hold, and get TO's. That strategy works for a team like KC. However, our D stinks.

I'm hoping they realize this now, and go wide open. It's really our only chance.

I can agree with that.

The Superbowl is in New York too. I fully expect the Bronco''s to struggle later on in the year. With that said I picked Denver and Green Bay in the Superbowl before the season.

Did you watch the game yesterday? They didn't give up yards because they were playing with a lead and running a prevent. They gave up yards and points because their defense was terrible. Now, they're going to get better when they start getting guys back. But that 32nd rating is well deserved at the moment.

I think we definitely have to use the 11 personnel more. Beasley, Harris, Austin, Williams and of course Dez are the big play makers. Either cole, Miles or Harris in the slot flanked by Dez,Jason and Terrence can be formidable. Mix in some 12 groups to chage it up. Hanna has been disappointing so far and Escobar is still learning.

I've said numerous times that I was talking about before yesterday.

Would love to see us come out attacking like this every week. Possibly get a few more running plays in the mix.

Without reading all the posts I'll say we pump on the brakes and slow the offense down again. That not what I would advocate it even what I want but we have had games like this before where we go toe to toe with a team like this. We the fans get all excited wondering where this offense has been and hoping to see it again but the coaches go back to the previous play designs leaving us to wonder what happens with the high scoring offense we witnessed two weeks ago. Other problem is not a lot if teams can put up points like that which would Lso help the defense cause they would get to pin their ears back and no matter how we may feel bout the dline there are also no other teams with Peyton manning and his oline so that plays to our strengths.

I doubt it. Dallas is so stupidly committed to the 2TE offense that they'll keep trying to make it work and thus leave all the guys who made plays on the bench.

If the 2nd half of almost every game last year after week 6 wasn't proof enough, yesterday was all but conclusive. Dallas is best served by going with 3 WRs, spreading the defense out and getting the ball to the WRs.

Given the team they are playing this weekend, I would expect a very large dose of Murray early, who will set up the deep ball against a defense that is as inept against the run as Dallas is against the pass.

Romo and the rest of the team have to play each quarter like it's the 4th and they're behind. Play with a sense of urgency.

Yesterday's game was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen in my life.

As bad as Dallas's defense is, I believe Denver's defense is just as bad, heck, I think Vick threw for more than 400 yards against Denver. Each game is a different game and no one should expect Romo to throw for 500 yards again in his career.

Yesterday showed what we can do on offense and showed the talent level we have on the field. There is no reason it shouldn't continue but If I had to bet I would say it wouldn't. All I have to go on is past performances over the years. We are nothing more than an 8-8 team with talent on the offensive side of the ball.

It would be nice if the Cowboys could do this every game, however, they won't get to play a 30th ranked (32nd ranked now) pass defense every week missing both of their starting CBs for most of the game (Bailey all the game, and Chris Harris most of the game).

They are going to run into really good defenses (like the Chiefs) that will limit scoring and the defense is going to have to stop someone.... otherwise you end up right around 8-8.

Who else was out for Denver? Didn't Woodley get knocked out early? Also, we all know Von Miller wasn't playing. Yes, before this game they were the 30th ranked passing defense in the whole league. Their defense was definitely bad but their offense did a great job of hiding it and demoralizing the teams they had played.

If Garrett want to retain his job, this offense should continue. But I doubt he will, he plays ultra conservative away from home. The Cowboys need to come out firing and scoring early and often and get a big lead.
