Dear Sugar Boy, so angry you are.

You are the CZ Diva. So annoyed at everything.
Put down the Pastrami and Muenster sammy and take a deep breath. Deep. Exhale.
Ah, just smell that clean air, Millie!

It is enough to write tha Zeke, if hurt, should sit it out.
Or if the Cowboys insist on playing an injured RB, that is shameful and actionable.
But your Dough Boy Zeke canna have it both ways. Like Serena, if they win it is talent, if they lose it is injury.
Tha is all I am saying.
Now you have me miffed and nonplussed and I canna enjoy me biscuits and tea while I watch "Deadliest Catch."

That sentence structure ... Oddly enough it can offer a comparison but also a compliment.
I seem to think tha former is the intent. Or, on the chance tha you admire me spelling.

Aside from tha, I dunno, your obsession toward me has me nervous.
I dunna feel safe around you, bloke.

And I want to believe in Santa. Zeke is a short yardage back who ls legs are getting old fast. If they do a better job spreading the load he will look better, but if not he'll sputter like last year.

    Love your optimism, chaps.

With any chance, Zeke could, if healthy and Martin gets help from the O line, aim for 1,200 yards over games. Tha is 71 yards per game. Not great but if in tandem with Pollard could churn out 125 yards a game. Tha is enough to keep defenses busy near the LOS and open up passing lanes.

Not asking much from Zeke. The key is to avoid injury (duh!).

First off I do not agree with paying RB's big money in todays NFL, Saying that obviously Zeke was injured and before he was injured was having a damn fine year along with TP who also got injured and when the OL started getting nicked it shut down what was a pretty good run game to start the season. You couple that with (in my opinion of course) a very young OC who is still struggling with "Next man up" do the same thing syndrome from his last HC and it goes like it did. The Playoff game..again anyone who actually watched that game and walked away thinking it was more 1 players fault than other literally has to ignore how badly we got whipped to a man in the trenches..like Z Martin had off plays even, the left side was a mess as the 49 DL just kept picking the weak link and killing it as we did nothing to stop it. So was Zeke affective in that game ..Nope but neither was anyone else because we literally got whipped up front and it wasn't even close.

Not sure why I continue to banter back and forth with you about zeke but here goes. No one beyond roy blames everything on zeke that ive seen. tony can do everything zeke can except blocking and stats suggest he does it better but He only needs to be used more often not every down

I have addressed Zeke with others but only you are as passionate about it. I also have spoke with you briefly on other topics as well you just only seem to remember the zeke convos. Sometimes its not the disagreement its how you disagree. You tend to fly off the handle with zeke and people notice. Not everyone needs to like him just like Dak.

No he started being underutilized the day Kellen Moore got the playcalling duties. Pretty much since that moment 90% of Zeke's carries have been up the middle. No one has said anything about Zeke being as explosive as he was earlier in his career. He isn't.. but there is a good deal more to being a good NFL RB than just being explosive.. otherwise every one of them would have 4.3 speed.. Yes in today's NFL almost none of them do. Though he doesn't hit as many home runs as young Zeke, this version of Zeke does many things better on the field than he did when he was a rook. So he has in essence traded being that home run hitter mentality for running a different way. But I will ask you again.. were you not watching games 2-5 last year when he was averaging >100 yards a game and >6 yards per carry? And if he does that for a full season do you think anyone will be unsatisfied with it? You know.. 1800 yards at over 5 yards a pop? Will you have the guts to come in here and declare that he needs to be gone? Again, I don't expect it to happen.. not because he's not capable.. but because the Dallas Cowboys do not want to play that brand of football. You want to be mad at Zeke for that.. go ahead.. I'm not going to join you there.

So you are ONLY mad at Zeke for playing in the Philly game.. Gotcha.. As long as it makes sense in your head have at it. I have no problem with guys hitting milestones.. especially when allowing those guys to reach those milestones is a reward for sacrifices they have made for the team. Again you don't like it.. that's a you problem.

I’m mad at Zeke and the coaches for the decision to let Zeke be a selfish little pig in Week 18.

If you were a fan who cared about WINNING, you’d probably feel the same way.

I don’t even have enough time in my day to undo all the mistakes your parents must’ve made if you’re okay with pure selfishness in a TEAM sport.

“B-b-but what about the non-injured players whose situations don’t apply to this discussion AT ALL!?!”

Another “me-first move” is pointing the finger at others to try and absolve yourself.

That’s called “what-about-ism.” Another damning character flaw you possess.

Sorry, some of us grew up playing team sports and learning valuable life lessons about sacrificing personal glory for TEAM success.

You were apparently taught to be a selfish man-child your entire life.

You can’t even grasp the simple concept that if Zeke were an unselfish team-first guy, and if he was injured like you claim, he should’ve wanted NOTHING to do with chasing 85 yards in Week 18 in order to hit 1,000 for the year.

LOLLL imagine thinking 1,000 yards (in 17 games) is any kind of “milestone” worthy of sacrificing your team’s best chance at playoff success.

Played like complete trash the 2nd half of the year (“because he was injured!!!” right??) and then has the NERVE to carry a heavy workload RIGHT before the playoffs to hit his “I didn’t play like hot trash all year” milestone?????

Pure loser talk and attitude that you both share. Yikes. Try not to pass that onto your kids, if you have any.

Like I said.. as long as whatever you're spewing makes sense in your head have at it.. I don't really care.. All these personal attacks because someone disagrees with you is pretty childish.. I stopped playing with children 50 years ago.. So peace out..

Was watching the NFL Network show on the Cowboys training camp.

One Maurice Jones Drew, who was a pretty good running back in his own right, had a comment about Tony Pollard being put as the lead dog back. As he correctly, imho, noted, when teams begin to game plan for the "backup" running back, their production goes down. Just a fact of the NFL.

Zeke is 27 years old. We often hear about players reaching the dreaded 30-year-old mark. There is some truth to that, statistically.

But Zeke has 3 years to go to that level. Yes, he's had quite a few carries, but at 6 ft and well over 220 lbs., he's built to take that. Now every player is different, but I'm not throwing Zeke on the trash heap and saying there is no way he'll ever be anything close to his younger self. He's carried this team's running game, may be able to do it again.

I'm certainly willing to give him a chance. If others can't, that's their problem....

“That’s a you problem” is a personal attack too, genius.

Yeah, walk away because you took the L. I love it.

I can’t relate to your “me-first” attitude, but I’m sure you can find some losers here who relate to you.

Amen.. he's my favorite running back on my favorite team until he's not.. People are so invested in being "right" about so many things that they cannot seem to allow themselves to entertain the possibility that guys are better than their expert analysis has deemed ..

There’s just a lot to unpackage with Zeke. Starts with a lot of people upset where we drafted him, coming in fat that one year, then the off the field stuff, holding out and then his numbers decreasing. He’s an easy mark for fans to take their anger and disappointment out on. I tend to think he’s not close to what he was, but I’ll hold out hope I’m wrong.

Certainly a possibility, I just think that at 27 he's young enough to rebound. All I'd ask is that people give him a chance instead of condemning him to being washed up at 27...
