I don't think we can survive being as conservative as we were on Sunday.

3 and outs are a turnover in my opinion.

In the second half we had 2- 3 and outs and a 7 play and punt that was only extended with a late hit on 3rd and 14. Then we lost the ball on downs after 6 quick plays. Pathetic.

If we are going to lose at least go down fighting. Take some shots, get creative, do something, anything besides dumpoffs on 3rd and long.

Yeah, it almost looked like we were just planning to win the turnover battle, and therefore win the game. The staff sees daily the inability of Weeden to throw on the move, and he certainly looked inept on the interception. They probably thought our D was better than last year's, but the DL had fewer in the rotation, had more reps since the O was not controlling the ball, got gassed late, then run over.

At some point in the game, the HC has to get the game plan out its shell and adapt.

I agree that the INT was brutal, but the second half was a death by a thousand cuts.

We have to win Sunday because I don't even want to think about what's going to happen to us in the Patriot game.

Said this the other day before Atlanta, we will lose to Atl and NO and probably beat NE. Just to piss us all off!

So they beat us by 20+ -- big deal.

We could be 2-3 with more than half the season left, and some major reinforcements shoring up the D. I still see us getting to 4-5, if not 5-4, and then Tony and Dez come back with 7 games left. Shoot, we could win the division at 8-8, then be strong and gelled at the end.

There's no sense crying over milk that hasn't even been spilled yet.

The Cowboys better step it up because if we don't get to at least 4-5 when they come back, it'll be all over. You can't expect the Cowboys to be perfect and win all the games once they come back. The schedule is harder down the stretch.

That would be funny but my heart believes Dallas will beat NE but my mind is telling me we don't stand a chance after their bye. We win this week and go into the bye at a minimal of 3-2, I will feel good. It's looking like we will be pretty healthy after the bye minus Tony.

He has a nice play on a designed roll out in the 1st half. Not so much throwing on the move on the int as much as he was not in a position to make that throw and should have just thrown in away.

I understand starting conservatively especially when it was working; however, at some point they have to throw past 10 yards.

So it come to this. Our aging and injured QB is out have the season and we have no QB to groom to prepare for the future.
Yeth Jerra think to hisself, he think: "We half a realy good QB who though he is 1-and-out in the playffs twice in his career and we dont need no stinkin, high-rated young QB in the past 10 drafts ... oh, and we needs milk and candles for Steven's birthday party."
So it is Weedon and Cassell. Future? Who care about the future besides Steven Hawkins, who btw could probably thow longer than Weedon.Yes i am concern and peeved about our lack off foresight.

Last time I was this mad I prank called Gov. Perry's office for 30 minutes.

You know you are right. This could be our future if the FO doesn't start to plan for life after Romo. It's coming sooner rather than later.

Absolutely.

They need to decide if they can even run an offense without Romo.

It is pretty evident to me that our "prolific" offense is all Romo. All day, all night.

And it is sad because he probably will never get that kind of credit.

The longer he plays, the more appreciation I have. I feel bad for riding him earlier in his career, thinking he was playing outside the system while not recognizing that he pretty much made the system.
