Going to see Transformers *Merge*

Doood, I'm so bummed I missed this today. If Bay butchers this movie I'll be pissed. I won't expect it to be as good as the new Die Hard, but I'm expecting to be pleased.

I saw it today and WOW. Awesome movie. If you were a fan of the series as a kid, you pretty much have to see this one. The action and effects in this movie were outstanding.

I already want to go see it again. Man, I felt like a kid again in the theatre!

I'm still looking for ones that make me laugh, Tomson.

The movie was great. The action was fantastic, and they did the right thing by a summer blockbuster - they attempted to create almost no backstory. The small bit they did try to establish was annoying, but that was my only problem with it.

It's also legitimately hilarious in parts where it should be. My wife has no ties or nnostalgia for Transformers, and she was cracking up and loved it.

I have no idea what you're trying to say in that "spoiler" part of your question, but the sequel has been green lit. Bay has even talked about the possibility of doing 4 or 5.

I've now seen it for the 3rd time. I have noticed a lot of new things upon repeat viewings. Part of that has to do with the fact that I could actually see well this last time (had major lack of sleep and contact problems the previous 2 times). Was in a good theatre tonight and wasn't sitting 2 miles back. Things I had problems with before didn't seem too bad tonight for the most part. I think if tonight had been my first viewing I would have said the movie was flat out awesome as opposed to the "pretty good" I've been feeling about it.

I also enjoyed it. I saw someone mentioned it seemed like they trimmed it? IMO, they could have cut off about another 20-30 minutes without missing a beat. IMO, what I would have enjoyed better is if they would have focused on Shia Labeouf's character more, instead of introducing us to far too many characters.

Overall, it was defintely a fun movie but with it's flaws. A good 2 and a half stars.

IMO, what I would have enjoyed better is if they would have focused on Shia Labeouf's character more, instead of introducing us to far too many characters.

no way, the coolest scene was when bumblebee and Barricade are chasing each other which leads to the right scene. probably just cuz i saw it with my buddy whos a BIIG ford supporter so when Barricade was twitching i looked at him and went "just like in real life, needs repairs daily"

Pure awesomeness!!! I loved the way Bumblebee played music that had to do with getting the HOT HOT girl. And many, the action, effect and humor were good. Much much better than I expected. If you haven't seen it go and just enjoy it and not worry about how technical the film is or not. Its really really fun!!! Even if you seen the trailers a ton, the quality of the effects will surpass what you expect and you will likely laugh a lot. The comedy is silly comedy, not bad comedy.

I was the one that said it felt like it was trimmed too much. And by that I meant that there were parts that seemed like there was missing footage between one scene or cut and the next.

I do think there are parts that could have been cut out too, mainly the sec. def. and analysts stuff.

Technically it's a Saleen, not Ford. But that's all about the licensing.

Technically they are both saleen's, ones based off the mustang and ones based off of the Camaro concept which is running w/ a 350 motor and on a gto frame just fitted with the exterior of the new camaro
