Just wanted to come in and congratulate you guys on the win over the Chiefs.
The game pretty much went how I expected. I'm not suprised by the amount of success from our offense. I'm also not suprised with the poor play of our defense (although I did think our run D would do better than they did).
I have to give kudos to the Cowboys' offensive game plan. They seemed to do a good job keeping the Chiefs' D guessing, and they seemed to always call the right play at the right time. Glenn is one fast MoFo, and KJ has some great hands.
It was a heck of a game, although the ending was a sure heartbreaker. I'm still down about it, probably won't get over it until Wednesday or so. I hope the Chiefs earned some respect, and I'll say you should come away from that game with renewed confidence in what your team is capable of. The Cowboys fought tooth and nail with a very good offensive team, and coming out on top is no small feat.
I don't know if it's been mentioned, but there were a lot of Chiefs fans at the game. Even so, Cowboys fans once again made a good impression on me. The only other stadium I've attended that was that hospitable was GB. So even if the stadium is run down, and the attendance isn't what you'd want, you can certainly hold your head high about the class and demeanor of your fans. Very impressed.
Anyways, good game. I appreciated the football talk, and a little bit of smack. Barring the Superbowl, the next time we'll meet is at Arrowhead in 2009. I'm looking forward to some payback.
