Definitely not for the Giants. They looked like they were still in preseason mode. It looked like there were no serious injuries from that game which is the only positive I saw.

Congrats on the win and see you at Metlife in a few weeks!

I really can't believe how sloppy the Giants looked, thought they would be much more ready to play. Apparently, in this case, the preseason actually was indicative of how the regular season would go.

Thanks. Both teams need some work.

We don't play each other again until November right?

Sloppy in terms of the turnovers, I imagine? Because, beyond that, I didn't think they looked that sloppy. That defensive line was deep and played well. Their secondary hardly missed any tackles in the open field. They didn't have major blown coverages the way we did. And those three WRs, especially Randle (only because he had the longest way to go to develop), were all at the top of their respective games. Even their banged up OL--apart from the OTs getting yet another free pass to hold our DEs all night--looked ok. They gave up a lot of pressure, but the weren't blowing assignments and every sack (except Carter's :)) was more or less earned.

Honestly, I thought the Giants were going to be at the bottom of the NFCE this season. Not by that much, but with the OL problems and with their best pressure players questionable and aging. They way they hung in that game after all those turnovers was pretty impressive. It's looking to me like all four teams in the East have a shot, and we're looking at another week 17 division-deciding game for two of them.

Yea, I think that kind of mitigates anything else that they did...and a lot of their success on offense was do to the fact that the Cowboys defense was so sloppy as well.

A lot of it was, yeah. Our sloppy S play in particular. But I was still impressed with how effective Randle was. Especially after we had to adjust to what they were doing with Nicks downfield. He's going to be a huge weapon for them this year if they can keep Eli protected.

Sad to see the Giants still trying their hardest to fake injuries.

Tom, as usual you show your class ...... win or lose.

I wish other rival teams had fans like you.

Looking foward to it. These 2 teams always seem to battle it out to the bitter end

Hey Tom,
Thank you. That is awesome you would come here and be respectful. I have seen you post and you are a true fan of the game.

As a fan of the Big Blue, what is your take on the injury question and if they did fake it, as a fan how do you feel about it? Myself, I hope my team wouldn't do that. Man up and play the game. Stop them and you have no reason to resort to such things. If you can't stop them, then you deserve to get your butt handed to you. Just curious how a fan of team that used a questionable tactic felt about it. Let me say, I have no doubt the Conner injury was legit. It was the one after that I question.

I just don't understand the 'kind of' part. We won the game and won it pretty convincingly. We controlled the ball and won the turnover battle intercepting and ripping the ball out and out hustling the Giants to the loose balls.

It was a good game, not really any 'kind of' needed.

I think your Giants get Philly (Oct 6) two weeks before our Cowboys (Oct 20) get them. Philly looks like it will be a challenge to handle. Give us a blueprint on how to slow that train down or, by all means, permission granted to your Giants to derail that thing for good.:)
