Uh, hopefully we learn from it? How to counter a blitz?

Screens? Max protect? Quick throws?

DBs were practically 1 on 1.

They haven't learned in three years, don't expect it. Just pray that we stick to the run for the remainder of the season.

They won.. Good for them.

I was disappointed in the defense tonight and how we kept giving them 3rd and manageable but they won a hard fought game.

I still feel good about the season and this doesn't change anything in my mind if Romo is healthy.

Btw, I'd be upset in a way if I was Dan Snyder. If Washington played that hard on a weekly basis they wouldn't be such a pathetic bunch year in and year out. I hope they give that same effort against Philly but I doubt they will.

They won't show any effort for the rest of the year, they just won the Superbowl now it's time to go to Cancun!

yeah, it's disappointing but not

Yeah, it's disappointing but everybody should have known it was coming, one bad offensive game and the defense folds. It was a division rival and the Skins have a good defense, we don't.

3 plays stood out to me in the first half..

1. Murray running right into Harris's back when he could've got at least 30 more yards.

2. Randle fumble

3. Murray fumble

We should've won but whatever. Good game to them

Weeden had no problems with the blitz. He simply moved us right down the field and scored. Not ragging on Romo, just saying what I saw.

They only play well against Dallas for some reason. They get routinely smoked by the other two division teams.

Classy post. As a Skins fan the maddening thing after this game to consider. How the **** did we lose by 31 pts to the New York Giants. We played the Eagles tough and had chances to win against them. Then 4 days later lose by 31 to the Giants.

It always seems like the unexpected has happened between Commanders-Cowboys though - always since I've remembered its been pretty unpredictable as to who will win based on previous records.

I know and wasn't happy that Romo came back in. That is 100% Garrett's fault for letting him play. It was clear that he could not handle the pressure ALL night and was hobbled........that is on the HC.

We get DeMarcus Lawrence back and hopefully Murray will see just how much his fumbles cost us. We would have been up 14-3 and Wash would have folded.

The 90s Cowboys always had these games, and SF lost to the Rams the year they went to the Suoer Bowl 2 years ago. These things happen.

Only be upset if we see the same thing on Sunday. I think Wednesday is going to be a rude awakening for this team. They should know they can't play their C game and expect to win.

McClain and Church never miss the tackles they did tonight and Dez doesn't drop balls at the goal line.

Yeah, we were out played. They deserved the W. But I can take some solace in knowing that Murray is on pace for 2,112 rushing yards. Another NFL record. :)

Before tonight I already marked this game down as a win... and nothing has changed. We're 7-1, folks.

We called better plays there and they defended differently. Weeden is not as good as Romo don't even go there. No guarantee he drives us from the 5 yard line at end of regulation.

Romo is our franchise QB deal with it. He has won many a game just like this. Even injured.

But congrats you get your first week in two months where your incessant whining will get some nods.

Haslett did a great job getting in Romo's head early, he looked confused today there's not a lot of defenses that can do that. McCoy looked like his UT days

Umm, yes they did. They made us pay for not getting pressure on the QB. They also confused the crap out of Romo and he couldn't figure it out. Other teams will follow the same game plan.
They scored 20 points including overtime. They didn't make the defense pay for anything.

If you think this game is on the defense your freaking high.

Dallas just blew every likely tie breaking scenario with Philly to win the division unless Dallas sweeps. This is a season altering type of loss. How does a wild card trip to the big easy sound to everyone?

I was thinking the same thing. There will be late season repercussions of this stinker. I anticipate having nightmares of killer McCoy sneaking it up the gut for a score, and the camera cutting to his cheering parents in the stands again and again. Doesn't Romo and Weeden also have parents?

Yup. who's ready to unload the salary cap on a guy that continually runs into the backs of his lineman? Not me. Later.
