Cousins and company were scary good today. Sign me up with those who don't want to see them in the playoffs. Wouldn't want a repeat of what we had with the Giants in 2007.
Before the game yesterday I said I thought this is a must win game because I wanted to do our part to ensure that the skins don't make the playoffs...1) because they have an explosive offense and our defense is a bend but don't break defense that can't put any pressure on an accurate QB, and 2) I don't like facing teams three times in a season. After yesterday's game, I am less concerned about facing the skins again (I know your thinking....what are you blind, did you see what their offense did to our defense?????). This offense has to be the most methodical and efficient offense in the NFL. They are mature, professional, unflappable, situationally aware, in synch, confident, and most importantly talented. The skins defense could only stop this offense if the cowboys stop themselves or if the refs do it for them. This offense just beats defenses into submission. And head coaches know this, that's why they have to kick inside kicks with nearly 10 min left to play or continuously going for it on 4th down or going for 2 in the first quarter, etc. Now I know everyone says the skins defense did the same to the Cowboys D, but I trust the game would be a little different if we had a healthy Church and Mo back. This Cowboys team fears no one and neither do I, but I guarantee you, we are in their head now. Bring on the skins, Seattle, the Patriots, or anyone else. We may or may not win the SB this year, but one thing is for sure, I know this team can beat any team in the NFL without question.
