Good morning friends,

Well, this day is upon us. Gameday. We've waited longer than three months for this day. It's been circled on our calendars, highlighted on newspaper clippings, checked on the checkbox, noted on the post it notes, and facebooked.

I've used this time to look upon my reflection about last year and how incredible of an incredible season it was for the Pewter Pirates. We won the Super Bowl. Now it's time to do it again while also trying to repeat.

I can't think of another team to knock the rust off against than the Cowboys. They know a thing or two about winning games. I fully expect both teams to come out guns blazing and barrels hot (due to the gun fire).

Dak Prescott appears to have won the starting job again this year. Looking forward to how he plays with that weight lifted off both of his shoulders. The offense should see a much more relaxed Dak this time around along with some determination to improve upon his lack of production last year, especially the last half of the season. Ezeke likes to eat a lot so hopefully the Bucs defense can give him some asparagus and calli flowers. He won't like to eat those. Devin White plays linebacker.

A quick review of the roster shows that Nick Folk no longer handles the kicking duties for Big D. Points are going to be tough to come by against the men in Pewter hats, so hopefully Dallas has a plan here.

Mike Evans continues his hall of fame career this year. Chris Godwin will get his fair share of catches, but expect his rushing attempts to be minimal as RoJo will be handling those duties.

JPP, Shaq, Suh, Vea.

Summary:

Prescott - 12-29, 219 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs, 0 picks
Elliott - 11 rush, 71 yards, 1 TD, 0 picks
Cooper - 7 rec, 11 yards, 2 TDs, 0 picks
Novacek - 0 rec, 0 yards, 1 pick

Gabbert - 0 for 0, 0 yards, 0 picks
Jones III - 19 rush, 211 yards, 3 TDs, 0 picks
Evans - 11 rec, 111 yards, 1 TD, 0 picks
Godwin - 8 rec, 88 yards, 2 TDs, 0 picks

Final score: Champs 24, dallas 10

Thoughts? What's your gameday meal? I'm running to the grocer in a few so give me some ideas. Also, which pregame show do you prefer? One more question, have you seen Ozark? Great show!

Kickoff is Sept 9th :)

I actually had to double check,, thought I had lost what I had left of my mind....lol

I just find it funny he had the Bucs scoring 6 TD's but only 24 points in his final prediction lol. Obviously a joke, still funny.

I *knew* the lateral to Novacek for a TE pass was a bad idea. Stupid Moore never listens to me.

You're a treasure, P4Two.
