Goodell expected to significantly increase Watson's suspension

I do not think you know the whole story on the Kraft thing ....... the massage parlor he was going to was an asian sex slave shop ...... the girls were held captive and threatened and beaten to do what they were told ...... and I guarantee Kraft new about it since his buddies told him about the place.

The poster defending Kraft probably thinks prostitution is a 'victimless' crime as well. He already thinks those poor women were there because they wanted to be.

 

The ones who don't realize that goofsmell is merely a pawn are much more pathetic.

 

The thing is he does not have to be a pawn; there have been very strong commissioners before.
Its HIS choice to be what he is.

You're right I didn't know about the whole sex slave shop thing. If in fact Kraft knew of it he is a despicable human being who should not be allowed near an NFL team ever again. But we both know that will never happen. Still I doubt when Kraft's buddies told him about the place it was presented as "There's this sex slave shop I know where you can get your knob worked for cheap!" More like the conversation went "There's a place I know where cute Asian girls will work your knob for cheap." I doubt the slave shop aspect ever came up in the conversation. Why would it?

No I complain about people deciding what other people "think" and then going off half cocked arguing with the voices that only they hear. Like the attribution that Kraft knew he was frequently a sex slave shop. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't.. but frankly I suspect 99.9% of people who go into any business really give much thought to the employees or the conditions under which they toil. This place would be no different IMHO.

This is what I heard on a sports radio station. I think it was WIP in Philly. Watson was not playing another game for Houston. So he sat out and still got paid 10 million. So no, that doesn't count. It gets better. They're also saying not only will they significantly increase his suspension, but fine him for those 10 million.

 

Exactly right. It’s just awful. Cant wait for the next commish.

 

The union agreed to this. I can see allowing the player to appeal to the league, but not the league appeal to itself. That's just stupid. But the union knew this and said, yeah that's cool.

 

The Union is run by the team reps; the rank and file really do not care much about anything beyond getting more money each time.
