Goose, I've enjoyed you for some time now and never written. I really owe you some words of support and thanks that I and we as fans left unsaid.


I really want to thank you for your help in getting Michael elected to the HOF this year.

I don't actually know anything but I can't help but believe your help made a difference for Mike.

Goose is truly one of the "good guys" in the media and our Cowboys are indeed lucky to have him on their side when it comes time to make a case for them gaining acceptance into the HoF. He had told me in a separate email a few weeks ago about how much he was hoping that this would be Irvin's year to finally make it to Canton. And there's no doubt in my mind that Rick was busting his butt amongst the voters this time, once the list was down to the top 10, for "The Playmaker" to finally get him over the hump and be given his due.
