This is the guy that I think has a little something to him and will probably win more SBs than any of the other QBs on this list...but I have been wrong before:)

RUNNING BACK

1. Reggie Bush, Southern California
2. D'Angelo Williams, Memphis
3. Laurence Maroney, Minnesota
4. LenDale White, Southern California

does anybody else get that song Boney Maroney running through your head

WIDE RECEIVER

1. Chad Jackson, Florida
2. Santontio Holmes, Ohio State
3. Sinorice Moss, Miami
4. Greg Jennings, Western Michigan
5. Derek Hagan, Arizona State

I still think this a very weak group of WR's

TIGHT END

1. Vernon Davis, Maryland
2. Marcedes Lewis, UCLA
3. Anthony Fasano, Notre Dame
4. Leonard Pope, Georgia
5. Joe Klopfenstein, Colorado

If he can catch and block he has the speed to be special
OFFENSIVE TACKLE

1. D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Virginia
2. Winston Justice, Southern California
3. Marcus McNeill, Auburn
4. Eric Winston, Miami
5. Rashad Butler, Miami

1. Davin Joseph, Oklahoma
2. Max Jean-Gilles, Georgia
3. Charles Spencer, Pittsburgh

3. Marvin Philip, California
4. Ryan Cook, New Mexico

DEFENSIVE END

1. Mario Williams, North Carolina State
2. Tamba Hali, Penn State
3. Manny Lawson, North Carolina State
4. Mathias Kiwanuka, Boston College
5. Kamerion Wimbley, Florida State

most look more like OLB's in 3-4 than a typical 4-3 end
DEFENSIVE TACKLE

1. Brodrick Bunkley, Florida State

I'd rather have Eric Winston. Just as good, but doesn't have the off the field issues that Justice has had. EW seems like he's got a very good head on his shoulders.

Still pissed that he left the great state of Texas to play for Miami.

Isn't Winston more of a RT?

My reasoning on Justice is that I have seen him projected as both a LT and a RT and if he can play both... might make a good swing man till he is ready to start...

but if I was just looking for a RT yeah I think Winston would be the guy

Doesn't look like Goose is factoring where a lot of reports have certain prospects transitioning to other positions. Clemens at #5 QB? I remember hearing about him preseason last year but how is his rehab going? Also not so sure that I agree with Whitner being the #1 safety.

I think we do. Between return from injury and prior inconsistancies, I don't think Flozell Adams is any sure-thing at this point. I think there's definitely room for insurance and improvement. And I think Justice would provide both.

I think it's time to make a solid commitment to improving the offensive line. And if - in my opinion - the top tackle is there, I would take him.

Winston is pretty athletic. He could play the left or right side, I think.

I like both of them but prefer Justice...I think the "off field" issues are kinda overblown (come on, replica bb gun?) but the guys upside and talent are huge...also, I think Justice is well worth the 18th pick if he's there, but think Winston is more of a 25-35 type talent...

but I do like both and wont complain if we get either...unlike Marcus McNeil and some of the other prospects after Ferguson, both Justice and Winston could play RT or LT, and Winston says he thinks he can even move inside to play guard in a pinch...both would be HUGE upgrades for us

I think Winston and Justice can both play LT in addition to RT, especially after gaining some experience...both have great feet and athletic ability...Justice is a little more physical in the run game IMO though

I hate Gosselin's NFL columns, but year after year his rankings are the closest to what really happens on draft day than anyone elses...I thinks its been evaluated (they compared him with most of the other draft experts) several times over the past few years and proven as well

he does his homework and gets close to some good sources because his results are always pretty accurate...the top-100 he puts out right before the draft is always the most accurate...if he has someone out of the norm ranked high on one of his lists, its probably because he's been told something by someone who knows what they are doing

Can someone explain the love affair with Croyle? Wasn't Alabama's offense one of the worst in major conference football last season? I understand he's popular with the Crimson Tide faithful, but shouldn't there be more production out of the position in your last year?

In half his games he didn't eclipse the 200 yard mark, and in 4 of them he didn't throw a TD.

Not exactly a gun for an arm, either.

Didn't watch enough of his games to form a real opinion on him . You're wrong on his arm strength though . He probably has the strongest arm in the draft . It's Favre like .

Ferguson , Justice , Winston , and J. Scott all have the footwork to play either side . J. Scott probably has the best footwork of any of the tackles in the draft . D. Colledge is also athletic enough to play either side . Scott or Colledge are my preference in the 2nd . I'd actually be thrilled with any of these guys .

Really? I never picked that up watching his games. I'll have to go back and watch some more tape if I can find it.

His arm is nowhere near Favre like, I think he might have him mixed up with Cutler. Arm strenght and injuries are his biggest ?.

Favre like may have been exaggerating it a bit , but I don't have him mixed up and he does have a cannon for an arm . The first two draft boards I looked at had this to say about him .

http://www.draftace.com/profiles/2006/brodie_croyle.htm

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/qb/brodiecroyle.html

If anything the kid is knocked for being too much of a gun slinger that thinks he can make that throw into double coverage . That and a bad history of injuries .
