8-3 is possible IF I get any bites on my Craigslist ad trying to trade Garrett......

I'm offering Garrett, our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round draft picks for ANY teams "conditional" 7th..........so far no bites.
dear cowboy_ron--- i thought Garrett was a double agent working for other side?....but i have been wrong before?

It's not Dak that worries me against the Falcons offense. It's Marineli and his bunch.
now on that note....i cannot disagree...we employ a 25 year old defense that has been game planned against for 25 years...we dont scare anyone

How can anyone expect this team to go 8-3 the rest of the way? This defense is insanely bad and our special teams and a pick 6 ain't doing them any favors. I have zero faith with this trash coaching staff.

mr ldgit---- i agree let us just play these games and who knows maybe ball bounces our way and maybe the stupid drive killing penalties happen against other team?...would not be first time similar thiings have occured

The last GB team to win the Superbowl was 3-3 rolling into week 8. A lot of things can happen, and what happens right now only matters for HFA. Which has proven to not necessarily be all that much of an advantage anyway. Even if we're kicking around .500 heading into Thanksgiving, what matters is what happens down that stretch. We dropped a couple of winnable games here. It sucks. Let's see what happens next.

4-1 in the NFCE- lose to PHI or WAS on the road
4-2 vs SF, SEA, OAK, LAC...... lose to ATL, KC

I love how we are 29th in points allowed and yet fans are just chalking up wins against Seattle, Oakland, Philly, Skins, ect.....

Yall realize the offense has to put dam near 40 on the board to win any of these games? 30 points couldn't even beat freaking Jared Goff.

So we are going to put 40 on the board against all these team, even on the road? And if you say the defense will step up, well what exactly is going to be different? Same players, same coaches, same schemes, Lee hurt off and on, Jaylon limping around on one leg, Heath being Heath, ect..................so what exactly is going to change?

So if the defense stays the same, we are back to needing 40 on the board............but I will play along, sure we are winning all of these games:rolleyes:

Our O and D are both going to improve

Our O is already on point.................30+ is no problem
Our D gets Lee and Irving back and the young guys improve in the secondary and LB

Some of y'all act like we didn't win 13 games with a a worse team last year

There's still hope. Yesterday offense against a lesser defense back to 2016 form and while our defense is worse with new secondary and without Lee DL is better. And we won't be facing Rodgers each week.

We lost to Trevor Siemian and Jared Goff just as badly.

We have Wentz 2x, Cousins 2x, Eli, Alex Smith, Matt Ryan, Wilson, Carr, Rivers to go.

I think we can run the table in our division cuz the deadskins, egirls and gnats don't scare me at all...that's 5 wins

SF and Bolts...um yeah that's 2 more wins. Oakland doesn't look like the same team this year...1 win.

That's 10 wins....which leaves the Chiefs, Falcons, Seahawks.

I think we can take Seattle in December at home. They are not as good a road team and our rooks should be much improved by then. Hopefully Rico is back by then too.

To beat the Chiefs and Falcons we need our defense to play lights out and have at least 1 turnover...need Switzer to have some good returns too.

Love to run the table of course, but I'm thinking this team can muster 9 more wins if it plays its cards right.

This team is worse than last year's team. Why do people think otherwise?

The secondary is worse, at least from an experience perspective. The OL is clearly not the same either. Those are two pretty big differences and largely why we are 2-3.

That's why it's frustrating that we didn't take advantage of last season. I kept hearing going into the playoffs stuff from Cowboys fans and people in general like, "Win or lose, Dallas had an amazing season and they'll only improve with their young core and sense of identity." I heard the same thing when Romo took us to the playoffs the year he took over from Bledsoe and then led us to 13-3 his first full year as a starter. We also had a young Ware and Witten back then. Not much different than a young Dak, Zeke, 3 All-Pro OL and a handful of young guys with high ceilings. I said last year, "Don't take it for granted. We might not ever go 13-3 again in the Dak era." And look at that, one year later and we're destined for .500.

That dark cloud is darkening.

When you look at the NFC, it's likely going to take 10-6 to make the playoffs.

The Cowboys aren't going to sweep the Eagles or Commanders. They're not going to beat Atlanta or Kansas City. The Seahawks are daunting, too, because Dak struggles mightily against good defenses.

Right now, the season smells like 8-8 at best, but 7-9 or 6-10 most likely.

Last year's easy schedule gave us false hope and impressions.

Wouldn't surprise me if the division is won at 9-7.

If the team ends up 6-10 which I honestly suspect, I see jerry firing marinelli.

No matter what our record, Marinelli should be fired.

His defense doesn’t stop teams from scoring, doesn’t need produce turnovers, doesn’t confuse the QB, etc.

They’ve consistently gotten worse each year he’s been here.

Wow, talk about fantasy football. Cowboys need to win eight of the remaining 11 games 2 B 10 + 6 I don't think they can win 8 out of the 11 maybe they prove me wrong I hope so

My exact prediction before the year started. Hard to move on from last year but a golden opportunity was squandered by this inept coaching staff.

Yes, their offense doesn’t scare me one bit. We will take them to the woodshed. They’re good when they can pick on a crappy offensive team. Other than that they’re average.

And the Rams with Gurley, Goff, T. Austin and Watkins are a crappy offensive team?

I think Seattle may be in the thick of the playoff hunt by then and that will be a tough game. Not that it won't be winnable, just I doubt we "take them to the woodshed."
