Weeden overthrows, only looks at 2 receiver options (not the 3rd or 4th guy), doesn't step up in the pocket. Pretty sure Cassell can do better than that.

We can no longer make the excuse that Weeden played well enough because he completed 80% of his passes. IMO this is the best our defense is going to look, we have just about everyone healthy except Gregory. With Romo and Dez this would still be a difficult game because Romo would have to win a shootout (which I believe he would've with Dez). Cassell I hope would take advantage of one on one coverage and let it fly.

Most QBs don't have time to read 3 and 4 progressions. I am not saying Weeden is anything in this league. He is garbage. So is Matt Cassel.

Living near Buffalo, I saw a lot of Cassel during the preseason.

He'll check down a lot but he'll look more in control.

Oh so Weeden is actually a quality QB but the play calling and talent around him is why he appears to suck?

Let's just ignore the fact that teams are game planning to take away our run and just daring Weeden to beat them and he can't. Defenses are giving him the best opportunity to succeed and he can't.
