Green Bay without McCarthy

I know McCarthys loyalty got him in trouble his last few year in Green Bay. He could not recognize the league had figured out Dom Capers defense. So many games, Rodgers brought the team to a tie or lead in the big game only to have the defense or special teams fail. Also during MMs last few years, Ted Thompsons draft and develop started failing because he could not hit on any draft pics. And then he constantly ignored free agency at a time they needed. Their words were "we do what we do."

I live in Boise and I can tell you there hasn't been so much as a whisper around here to back up what Aikman said. I'm not sure where he got that info, but as far as people are concerned around here, the job was never officially offered to Kellen.
Aikman is pretty safe with assumptions because no way BSU is going to come out and say they didn't offer him the job.

The assumption made was it was between Moore and the DC from OR, also an ex star player. I didn't see any official from BSU confirm that.

Assumption, conjecture and speculation have become the standard of all reporting.

Packers have real GM’s. Ted Thompson and now Brian Gutekuns.. it helps.

Ok. The only info that I heard was from Aikman. I have some good friends who live also and some of their sons and daughters go to Boise and they haven’t heard anything either.

Seems far more successful than Cowboys without Garrett.
Swap out the word 'Seems' for IS.
Packers - played in NFC Championship game last January
Packers - will play in NFC Championship game this January

A huge stretch in what way? Residual coaching is a real thing. It can be good and bad. For example... the residual coaching from 10 years of Garrett is still hurting this team.

Dallas was stacked with Hall Of Fame talent on both sides of the ball during an Era where cap wasn't prevalent. Completely different scenarios. You can't compare 90's football to today's Era other than player talent.

I'm not talking about players. I'm talking about residual coaching. It's a real thing.
