Did anyone see the piece on Jason Taylor and his on-going battle with the Dolphins? They were discussing that Dolphins have mandatory practice starting on Monday and it will be interesting to see if Taylor shows up or not. They may lock him out of the building and if he does not show he will be fine over $8,000 a day according to the collective bargaining agreement. They pose the question to Adam Schefter and he reported that the Dolphins should trade him. They asked who would be interested in they say the Jags and Eagles but don't count out the Cowboys because Jerry Jones likes to make a big splash and that the Tuna knows the Cowboys' players. Schefter did say that even though Dallas already have some really good players at OLB they could trade Ellis or Ware. He reported that some in the organization have discussed the idea of a trade for Taylor. Take it for what its worth. I mean this is Adam Shefter we are talking about. Personally, I do not think we get involved and by all means, we do not trade Ware.

FYI-the Fins' CB situation is WEAK. Look for a Taylor-Lito trade sometime in the future.

I agree with you on this. I was just reporting what Schefter said. I was little caught off guard when he metioned the Cowboys. It peeked my interest.

Another thing-especially considering that the Eagles tried to make a move for Jared Allen, obviously, Reid/JJ aren't satisfied with their other DE position(i.e. they apparently don't seem too high on Victor whatever his name, who was their 2nd round pick last year).

He didn't suggest we trade Ware. He said we were stacked with Ware, Ellis, and Spencer, that we had an extra 3 and 4 next year that we could trade for Taylor and that we'd discussed it internally, and then mentioned in passing that BP was familiar with our rosters if we were interested in a player trade rather than giving up picks.

Ellis for Taylor makes sense to me, but it would have to work for Parcells and the Dolphins and the money aspect would have to work for the Cowboys to even think about it.

If it took Ellis and an additional pick (3rd or 4th next year), I would throw that in if that's what it takes.
