Anybody here know what is going on with The Hammer from The Hardline. About 3 weeks ago, Mike Rhyner stated that he was having some personal issues, the station didn't know when he was coming back and for the masses to stop asking. Yesterday on The Hardline, Rhyner repeated that same Mantra.

Don't know.
Anyone talk to him at the Premier club on 75 lately?
He hangs on there.
Is he really missed? He knows nothing about pro football or the Cowboys.

I'm a fan of The Ticket, too, but I can't stand that show. I hope nothing is seriously wrong with him, but I don't miss him on the radio, that's for sure.

I listened to him(hammer) go into his entire rehab experience one day on the ticket. He talked about the numbers of pain killers he was taking(for a legit injury, i think a bad back) and he mentioned Bret Favre. I think Favre was rumored to be taking 30+ viks a day but i can't remember what the hammer said he was doing but i think it was in the high 20's per day. He talked about "the tank" and how tough that first couple days were in rehab and how your very life is at risk coming off pain killers, H, and alcohol(physically addicting drugs). He said he met guys who were taking darn near 100 pain killers a day. It was the best ticket segment i ever listened too.

I can only guess it may be a relapse for the hammer.
