Crying over that weed head? Please. He’s not that good. Sign better de now.
He showed his true colors in that huge play off loss. Bless his heart.
The problem is that they won't get anyone better. Stephen Jones keeps trying to play hardball with these contracts and keeps on losing.
The problem is Stephen is too gun shy. If he hasn’t seen them to it for us he doesn’t believe they can do it for us so he won’t pull the trigger.
This is an absolute blessing in disguise.....
While it’s still a bad look, I do believe we will look back a year from now as a good thing
What have you seen to make you believe that Stephen Jones is going to try and make a move to sign a better defender in free agency?
Get Armstrong back and draft a guy.
Games Started 12
QB HIts 17
Games Started 5
QB Hits 12
I think this is a good plan unless ZaDarius Smith can somehow be had for less than Gregory and his back is fine. Lot of ifs.
Armstrong is no world beater, but is solid and plugs a glaring hole in the Defense. See what he can do in 16 games.
Is he still available? His back worries me though.
This is the issue.
A team just signed him to a larger deal that Dallas had lined up.
Gregory was solid and the defense lost a good player.
Yes we save cap space but it just creates another whole we have to fill in the draft.
The front office dropped the ball on this and Jerry Jonese is a terrible GM for allowing this to happen. He's a complete joke.
Your pay does not equal your ability.
Just because Denver paid Gregory doesn't change the fact that a lot here overrated him.
Denver did us a favor and saved Jerry for himself on this one.
Change your avatar. Ted doesn't cry like that.
You don't pay solid players $13M who have a history of missing more games than they play.
This morning's antics should be celebrated in the long run.
Last I heard yes - there's a few guys in the 29-32 age range who are hanging around I just have no grasp of their price tags.
Chandler Jones, ZD smith, Von Miller, couple others.
The eye test doesn't agree.
That people keep making this comparison is hilarious. Anyone who watches them play knows one is clearly a better and more talented DE.
It's why in pretty much all NFL circles Gregory was viewed a prime FA candidate and Armstrong will be a Week 2 signing by someone (maybe us) as a depth signing.
The problem here is that the Cowboys probably don't have a plan B. They likely put their eggs all in the Gregory basket at DE.
Now we will see some of the other big names roll off the board and the Cowboys will scramble to find an older, declining vet. I really hope I am wrong but history tells us a lot.
Well once a scum bag always a scum bag screw Randy forward
