Glad we passed on those available DEs in FA after Randy was one test away from suspension.

I don't even blame him, he's got enough problems in his head.

It's also stupid to take away a guy's job for 3 months when he's just gone to rehab. I don't agree with that at all. Make him do a bunch of promotional/charity stuff like community service to lessen sentences, that'd do a lot more good.

Oh well.

Maybe now people will give up on the dream that was Gregory. Never playing another down. How long until they get there with Romo?

Ok. On to plan B. We fight the rest of this season and do our best! Next off season, let's get some MEANINGFUL help for the defense. Not just bodies, jags, rotational guys, let's get some difference makers.

  • 2017- we have Julius Peppers, Chandler Jones, Trent Cole, Robert Mathis, JPP just to name a few. Plenty more. Let's get two DE free agents. One top tier and maybe a second tier guy.
  • At MLB get Lawrence Timmons, Malcom or Daryl Smith to team up w Lee and Jaylon.
If Gregory comes back then he's back to square 1 and has to earn his trust and reps with the team.

I really am rooting for him to come back. Watching his tape, he absolutely balled in college. He even showed out in preseason too.

Gets a high ankle sprain and struggles rest of rookie season.

On social media, I am jumping to conclusion that his GF is pregnant. Him not collecting a check while suspended is hopefully ammo to get his arse together and put dependency on MJ behind him.

I'm going to pray for the man that he gets his mental health issues in order and can live a productive life in the future. On the football side of it I am not going to lament in self pity that a guy who delivered exactly the same amount of sacks that I did last year is not returning to the roster. Guys, we didn't lose Charles Haley here, or Dware, or Reggie White. He produced 0 sacks last year and I don't remember him even being on the field doing anything positive.

Football side of things, who cares he was not a productive player. On the personal side, I'm going to keep him in my prayers and hope for the best for the young man because I've seen how crippling Bi-Polar can be. I hope for the best for him.

Who do you want held accountable?
I would love for Jerry to look himself in the mirror and realize the mid-round drafting has been a disaster and that if he wants to see another title before he dies that he will need to make some adjustments in the front office.

Who do you want held accountable?
The same people that drafted Dak Prescott in the 4th round of the draft. They took a swing with Gregory and stuck out. They took a swing on Dak Prescott and knocked it out of the park for a home run. The draft is the ultimate gambling table and you win and lose.

Now not signing a DE and hoping that he comes back healthy after one failed test is the fault of the GM and he should be held accountable for not having a back up plan in case Gregory bottomed out.

So Jerry Jones, the GM should be held accountable for our deficiency at DE. Everyone should be held accountable for drafting him and be held accountable for drafting Dak.

Here goes the bi-polar talk with nothing to back it up again.

He said himself he is not bi-polar and just gets stressed out.

he must have thought he had no chance of winning. this additional 10 games means he's 1 year further from UFA
If he kept going with the appeal and it lasted a few more weeks the suspension could possibly carry over to 2017 and no one wants that...now he can write off 2016, get his mind and body right and possibly come back strong next year

yea, I'm curious what our options are after week 14. Is there a reserve list we can place him on, because realistically, he won't be able to contribute after no training camp and no working out with the team for 3 months. If not, we'll have to cut someone to make room for him.

I thought it was 10 instead of 4. I didn't realize it was 10 + 4.

Non issue though. He's a waste of space. Shouldn't be on the roster.

the 4 was for the failed test we found out about around February. the 10 was the second pop in July or so.

I guess they could IR him or maybe get a roster exemption......the NFL gave SD one for Bosa for Week One
