I really don't see a coaching change here unless the bottom falls out.

The other texas team is going to have a Coaching vacancy for sure though and has a roster filled with guys gruden would probably love to coach.

I would rather have Garrett right now. I think he connects to our players and they respect him. We are building something.

I like Gruden as a coach. Don't like him as a roster builder. He would instantly age this team with a bunch of aging vets.

As for Lovie, I like him, but I can see why some don't. I like the idea of pairing him up with Marinelli, but he'd still need an OC, because in Chicago, he was very one-sided. To me he would be Wade Phillips redux. I don't know how he is with personnel and I imagine he would need a strong GM who can build a roster. He just wouldn't be a good fit for Dallas, IMO.

Exactly he's about as inspiring as a mop look at guys like Tomlin, ,the Harbaughs and Pete Carroll - I know he's kind of a Dungy clone but not a good fit for Dallas much like Dungy was a goot fit for Indy.

You make it seem like he's been here 5-10 years. He's made some moves since he's been here and we now have more motivated players that want to play. You can look at 8-8 from last year and say we failed. Keep in mind we won games with a bunch of players who are now after thoughts. That says a lot about Garrett.

There is speculation that Smith will get a HC job somewhere at the end of the season, and more speculation that Marinelli would be his DC.
