Work ethic and smarts aren't the issue with Dak. He just needs a ton of refinement. With a couple years of pro coaching he can be a good one.

I think more than intelligence with QBs its quick-processing and quick-reaction.

The biggest thing I like about Dak is his confidence. If you have that the development will come.

But tell what "predictable assumptions" were made IN MY POST that he responded to

That was just a gratuitous nonsense remark by you

Assumptions about intelligence. Assumptions about effort.

Classic.

If Dak played in a pro style offense in college I believe he would have been been selected no less than the 2nd round.
He just has that pro style game learning curve to deal with.
Absolutely he would have. Next year preseason is what I'm waiting for.

Oh I understood what I read. Perhaps you don't understand why you would question intelligence and work ethic. Hint: you relied on a stereotype

I think I stereotyped you
My apologies if English is not your first language

Actually it makes tons of sense. He dropped because of the offensive system he played in mostly. He played in a spread offense . He rarely lined up under center.
It was more than just lining up in a spread. Passes were scripted/schemed, there was very little reading, if any of the defense.

How he manages pressure, within the demands of the offense will be key. Garrett's offense is not designed for a QB breaking the pocket constantly. If he does that all of the time or takes a lot of sacks, he is sunk. I just don't think this offense is a good fit, at all.

His one advantage is that he is a pretty good athlete and can run. And he is not as inaccurate as Tebow.

He went right about where he should have gone, DUI included.

His senior year he had to make reads but I agree he's very raw in that department.

For a visionary, you sure seem pretty blind.

He has a great work ethic, he is smart, and he wants to be great. He reminds me of Steve McNair, may he rest in peace.

I'm replying to this post by Adbutcher, so everyone can go to the first page of this thread and give him a billion Recs.

Lol, I have watched this kid lift an entire college program on his shoulders to a number one ranking. Last night I received confirmation for my lying eyes. This kid is the best QB prospect I have seen in a long time and we drafted him with a compensatory pick. We need to revoke some fan cards if that doesn't make you feel good.
