Not sure when he'll go talk about BOOM/BUST, is he the next coming o Eric Dickerson or the next KiJana Carter, probably somewhere in between Reggie Bush and Knowsho Moreno?

Gurley I don't see slipping past the teens honestly. Teams are really high on him

I think I'd take Kevin Johnson or Byron Jones above Gordon.

I disagree, strongly.

A potential 2nd CB, likely 3rd, over a starting runningback who put up 2500 yds in one year and 29 tds in his last year of college. Someone who will be playing with the exact line that helped Demarco Murray beat a record set by Emmitt Smith and become the league's offensive player of the year. While any potential secondary pick will be 4 th or 5th best at his position and coached by Henderson, who has developed our former first round pick and the second coming of Deion and our 55 million free agent into irrelevance.

Wait, the same Henderson that developed Joe Haden into a candidate for Defensive Rookie of the Year, and has since gone on to make the All-Pro team? Or the same Henderson that also developed TJ Ward?

The same Henderson that had the Cleveland Browns, yes the Browns, ranked as the #2 pass defense in the NFL in his last season there?

He must really suck.

And, no. Byron Jones or equivalent would immediately be a starter.

But don't let facts get in the way of a good agenda.

This is neither good nor bad for his chances of being there at 27. This is basically a standard look at the knee to make sure he IS actually healing well and expected to make a full recovery, which everyone already expected anyways. The biggest factor in his draft stock is the time he's expected to be game ready. I still seriously doubt he plays game 1 or even participates much at all in TC. I think he is a prime pup list candidate.

I may be alone in this, but I actually think there is a decent chance Gordon is the 1st RB taken due to his immediate availability. He should be available through the entire offseason and expected to be healthy game 1 of the season.

I'm a bit skeptical on Henderson but you do have a point. I wasn't aware of his work in Cleveland.

Barry Church is playing at a high level as opposed to his athletic ability. Wilcox has improved steadily. Scandrick is peaking well beyond expectations. Patmon made some plays and then looked small. The next 4 months are the most important of his career. It's not bad by far

I was disappointed in Webb, Carr, Hamilton, and Claiborne though. Webb was a creampuff. Carr can't play cover 3 defense particularly off in space. Claiborne has been glass man. That kid that wouldn't stop holding in preseason was disappointing. He never changed his technique. Hamilton seemed to just melt down.

Now I get that Heath and scrubville is what he has had to work with and certainly most of those have very mitigating circumstances but it is what it is and it isn't pretty.

Excellent post. Mayock did exactly that and I imagine some NFL GMs might feel the same way. I prefer Gordon myself. I think he has a shot to be good for a long time as opposed to the much more bruising and already injured Gurley. I like Gurley particularly on a rookie contract but his running styles is not conducive to longevity. If Gurley pushes Gordon to us then I am great with that.

That has nothing to do with the Cowboys. What do I care what a coach, or a player, did at a previous stop?

Look, I like Jones and I'm OK with him at 27. But a RB has a potential to step in and be a star. I don't believe a CB has nearly the same impact, especially not in 2015.
