He received a huge cut, but his vision is completely unaffected. They'll simply bandage it up as well as possible and he'll be good to go.

I remember when the Packer's defensive lineman slammed dunked McMahon to the turf WAY after the play in Chicago one time but I cant recall to many others where there was such deliberate intent to injure a player.

Gurode is gonna have this ugly scar across his face for the rest of his life due to one idiots actions.

The guy took is helmet off and intentionally tried to harm him, not a cheap shot, he had malcious intent to injure Gurode.

We got lucky he did not lose an eye.

This incident really upsets me and I hope they bring the house down on that idiot.

I just saw the play on Fox's NFL Postgame. Haynesworth kicked him TWICE! First, he kicked him in the back of the head, then he stomped down on Gurode's face. You can't get more deliberate than that. An inches or two more and he could have taken out Gurode's eye. There's no room for this type of mentality in the league. The new commish should make a strong example of Haynesworth and kick him for the entire season w/o pay! I didn't see him take Gurode's helmet off also. I see it's being commented on here. Did anyone see that part?

Hopefully, the league will make him the sacrificial lamb and suspend him for the season for a clearly blatant act that could be deemed a criminal assault if Gurode or the Cowboys press charges.

Didn't Courtney Brown get a season ban for attacking a ref a few years ago? Surely this is just as bad, if not worse.
