Ok, cowboys zoners, Gurode, McBrair and Carpenter are all having surgery now. Should all other dallas cowboys players have their surgery now and not wait like Folk did in April during OTAs etc?

Take note Dallas Cowboys players, get your surgery, treatment done now, so come OTAs and offseasoning conditioning your ready to go and not miss valuable time.

:laugh2: Joe's point is well taken, though. If they know they need it, get it now.

Right, instead of waiting to april like Folk did, and get set back waiting till midseason to round out in shape like folk said he did.

Even Hatcher had surgery late and was behind the 8 ball so to speak too.

ummm, the recommended course for many injuries would be to wait and see if things improve with PT, etc. You certainly don't want guys taking a surgical option if it can be avoided. What you suggest pretty much would be telling guys to forget the PT and opt immediately for surgery.

No, if they can take PT and not need surgery fine, main thing though, dont wait to april to decide to have surgery. You should know by at least mid february if you need surgery or not if the healing process is not working.

Thats the main thing, dont wait to be behind the 8ball like Folk was. Be ready for offseason conditioning and OTAs.

Absolutely... even those players who don't really need surgery should have some now... if only a little liposuction...

:D

Ahhhh....you stole my thunder!

This could be a fun thread.

List the type of surgery each Cowboy player should undergo?

Romo should get whatever surgery Drew Brees got on his shoulder it's working out well for him, and he sucked before it. Imagine what a robotic throwing arm would do for a great QB like Romo?

Just a little botox on the lips and cheekbones. Also permanent lipstick and mascara. He will also be getting a "tramp stamp," tatooed on the small of his back!

Spot on. I think McBriar is actually having PLASTIC surgery though. I heard he had a hard time getting any play this year and is pulling the trigger on a complete "Joan Rivers" package.

I would hope any player who needs to have some surgical treatment should do it now. Sooner the better

Good, I recommend a brain and heart transplant for Roy Williams and Martellus Bennett immediately.
