The water in fire pipes is gross. Its just sitting there for eternity waiting for a a fire.

I've seen a couple of those sprinklers in a big building go off and it smells like a combination of egg farts and garbage.

My Step-Dad has managed a very large Fire-Sprinkler Protection business for like 20 years.

Every time they go off in a movie or t.v. show he goes nuts because of the un-realism.

But yeah, he has some horror stories regarding fire-sprinklers and the Holy Water that comes out of them.
