What proof have we seen that a Dallas offense can score 50 points away from home??????????????
We don't have any proof. But our gameplan during the week should be to PLAN for a shootout. We have a much better chance of scoring a lot....as opposed to allowing a little.

Also, the 0 INTs doesn't say much when he only had 104 passing yards in a game where he needed to throw the ball. He's played way too safe this year. I could care less about fewer INTs. At least he got us to the Week 17 elimination game the past 2 years. We'll probably be too far behind Philly by the time we play them this year.

How much less?

Man, why do you guys make these type of posts, it's just a breeding ground for football know-nothings like Zordon, ufc, Clove, The Natural, etc. to continue their tired whining act and mutually like each other's posts. Sounds like a bunch of crickets as much as they click the Like button on each other.

lol
That was good, bro!

Who's acting brand new? Yes, the script is written ahead of time and the QB gets too much praise and too much blame. Yeah, you got your Romo stans or whatever, but a truly objective fan will know that the Romo doesn't throw for 300 yards, 4 TDs, or whatever without someone on the receiving end, without some halfway decent blocking, without the run game at least looking average.

I think the issue is that instead of looking to Romo to praise/blame first, that folks should take a macro look at the offense as a whole. Folks mad at Romo because of a bad throw, then article comes out next day, receiver ran wrong route. It's happened too many times to count. When Romo truly spits the bit, it's usually not much of a debate when it happens.

OMG...lmao!

WG, I have tears in my eyes from laughter!

Romo can't win the game when he's sitting on the bench while the defense gives up 7+minute drives.

Romo was outplayed, but he never had as many possessions because the defense could not stop the other team. The Bears never punted.

How many points did the offense put up last night? In spite of our lousy play caller? And we still criticize Romo?

True but the offense sputtered too at times, just made the point. Of course our defense was horrendous!

At this time last night, if I told you DeMarco Murray would rush for 146 yards and Tony Romo would throw three touchdown passes, would you have predicted a 17 point loss?

Please. This offense is far from perfect, but it's the least of the Cowboys' concerns right now. Romo and the offense didn't even see the field in the third quarter!

And how many when the game was still close? Right.

Unbelievable...ok 14. Then he got another one, but the Bears weren't in a prevent, watch the replay. But according to you, Romo wouldn't have scored the rest of the game regardless of the defense because you chose to cherry pick his "only close" TD's.

Some of you people truly deserve Quincy Carter and Chad Hutchinson for the rest of your lives as a Cowboy's fan.

104 passing yards is 104 passing yards. This isnt the 1930's.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The Cowboys defense is the worst in franchise history and yet people still want to find ways to blame Tony Romo. It's beyond silly or annoying. It's just plain sad now. Nobody is going to realize what we have in Romo until he's gone and Dallas has to go dumpster diving for a quarterback again like from 2001-06.

I don't understand this at all. Any player who fails to do his job should be subject to the same level criticism the QB gets when he fails to do his job.. The QB can't catch the ball, block the rushers or run the routes.

I judge Romo on his entire body of work, not just a single game. Last year, we blamed the offensive line. Next year, it will be a new problem other than Romo. It's always something.

Nonsense! We can just draft a franchise QB that'll surely be better than Romo and be set for 10 years. Its easy ya know!

The point now is this: Romo is not the problem. He has a 27-7 TD-pick ratio. Last year (with no protection) he was a turnover machine. There's no need to make excuses for Romo this year because he's playing excellent football. The Cowboys defense can't stop those kids in the NFL Play 60 commercials and we're here arguing about Tony Romo!o_O
