I thought the Commanders had the game won in Philadelphia... Never, NEVER trust the Commanders it seems.

Either way, at 8-3, I'm pretty nervous. The offense has got me worried... never know what they're going to do.

One thing you can count on is that every time this year we've played to our competition. Whether that's good or bad, it's something you can count on. So you know we can hang with anyone in the league, and that gives us a shot.

You have to be confident in the things we can control.

The defense is solid and a proven commodity.
The offense has shown flashes and has great potential at any time.
Special teams is a thousand times better than in previous years.
We very rarely get blown out so we should be in every game.

The only things you should be worried about.

Bad calls.
Bad bounces.
Bad weather.

Since...you can't control the things you should be nervous about and factor in the way we're playing right now. I think you should feel pretty good. If I was playing...I couldn't wait to get to NY.

I'm not all that worried at this point. Now that could change, but right now, I feel good about this team. We need to win in NY, that much is for sure.

If we blow the game in New York, I will then officially be worried as hell. I have seen this movie before and it does not end pretty.

Just take it one game at a time. If we can beat the Sheagles in Philthy, then we can beat the Gnats in Smallville. I just can't wait....OMG, I can't wait to bury their season and then piss on it!

Like the lyrics in Bobby McFerrin's song say, "Don't worry, be happy!"
There's a lot more to worry about in life than a football game. Terrorism, your health, losing your job or house.
Cowboys will beat Colts in the Super Bowl this year.

Don't have a defeatest attitiude. We are going 5-0 in Dec. That's how you have to think about it. A legitimate Super Bowl team doesn't hope for anything. It makes its own breaks. What a better way to stut up the critics. I like our Dec schedule, if we play good football, we'll leave no doubt.

Folks can say what they want about this season, but fact is, December(/january) has become a 400lb gorilla on this organization's back the last few seasons and that's hard to deny.

So some positive. 3/5 games left will be indoors, so weather won't be a factor against 3 very tough opponents (SD, @NO, PHI).

Dallas has 3 healthy RBs, not 1.5. That is a major positive.

Despite a few injuries (Columbo, Hamlin), this is a pretty healthy team overall heading into December.

Dallas will have an extra day off in there... Dallas plays NO on the 19th (Saturday), Commanders play NYG on the 21st (MNF), then Dalllas plays them the following Sunday. Dallas will at least have an extra day in there for travel/rest.

Finally: "We're not alone" Nobody else in the division has an easy schedule.

NYG: DAL, PHI, @WAS, CAR, @MIN (7 weeks ago I'd have said this was easy but now?)

PHI: @ATL, @NYG, SF, DEN, @DAL (4 tough games in there I hope).

WAS: NO, @OAK, NYG, DAL, @SD (probably 2nd toughest behind Dallas)

*GB: BAL, @CHI, @PIT, SEA, @ARI (3 tough games in a row)

SO...am I nervous about December(/January)? YUP...I'm nervous about *EVERY* game. BUT...I think mentally this team is ready for the challenge. Physically....they can win all 5. Mentally, I think they all have this one-game-at-a-time mentality so they're not looking at DECEMBER(/january), they're looking ONLY @NYG and that's it for now.

I really hope the team doesn't think that way cause it's a loser mentality. Only people who are losers, and believe they'll lose, think that way.

I look at it this way, its put up or shut up time, No More Excuses. Like jay ratliff said, Shut up and play!

Its on the Dallas Cowboys players now and the coaching staff to put the players in best position to win with excellent game plans.

If they beat the Giants, they will be fine. They will still have the "yeah, but" crowd giving them heck. Internally, the team will have to feel good about sending their biggest rival (from a player's perspective) reeling though and I can't imagine they wouldn't be very confident after that.

If they don't, it's high time for panic mode. Hellfire and brimstone will descend upon this team if they lose on Sunday for any reason. It'll be even worse if it's something that can be pinned on Tony Romo. We've seen how this team has reacted to the kind of adversity they'll face if they lose this one and the results haven't been pretty. You can crow about leadership, but I'm not buying it. Anybody can be a leader when a team's winning.

Comparing previous years with this year is comparing apples to oranges since the roster is different. There are many new key players to this team that had no part in last years collapse.

Besides, people often forget that our defense last year was very bad against the big pass play. Tony Romo still had a broken throwing hand, Felix Jones and Barber were injured. Witten was no where near 100%. Cory Proctor was starting!!!. T.O. was disrupting the locker room. Pacman Jones was bringing a lot of bad attention to the locker room. There was much much more obviously but to sum it up...there were far too many injuries and distractions by December to overcome.

The disctractions are gone this year and so far the injuries are few. The ones we have had the backups are playing well. So, you can't compare last year to this year and glean any kind of prediction of failure. The good news is a lot was learned from the chaos of last year and we have already seen many of the benifits.

Yeah that's now how the phrase goes either. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
