Happy 30th anniversary of our last title

My 2 kids were toddlers then. Of course, they have no memory of that game even though they watched it with me. I told them that perhaps they may see the Cowboys in the Super Bowl once again in their lifetimes. However, I don't think I will ever see them there in mine, unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong!!
Thanks for sharing Brother.

Imagine that, they are now in their early 30s and think of all the milestones they reached over the last 30 years, truly amazing and a blessing.

Now imagine, this sorry arse team couldn't do a damn thing to make it back to a SB just once in all that time???? PATHETHIC.

I was 30 Yeats old. I didn't enjoy the game. We were totally outplayed by Pittsburgh after the 1st quarter and all I could do was look at the clock.lol If I knew then what I know now I would have enjoyed it more.
it was about to be a blowout.......until the switzer led defense gave up a 3rd and 25 to pitts for a first down....the momentum swing was on........I was.....a little worried...but they pulled it out...defense to spite barry the clown...because THATS what wins championships........that also started the franchise downfall fast and hard......and we know who is responsible for that...

This is even funnier with the video in black and white as if it was before technology really took off.

I still want to know when Neil O'Donnell is getting in the Ring of Honor. 30th anniversary is a good round number.

Its sad when we watch our last Superbowl on NFL Network and you see the old cheap *** words, numbers and names graphics in Nintendo block letters.

The the footage is grainy as a bowl of wheat and oats cereal.

No we were not outplayed by Pittsburgh at all. We dominated them.

Pittsburgh NEVER had the lead in the game.

Pittsburgh lost by more in that one SB than the Cowboys did in both losses to the Steelers COMBINED.

Pittsburgh lost by DOUBLE DIGITS.

Neal O'Donnell is not the only QB to throw a couple of picks in a SB.

You've let anti-Cowboys bias gaslight you into revisionist history.

Actually no I didn't. I remember how I felt watching that game. It was a very shaky game. I never felt the Cowboys were in charge of that game until late in the 4th. I remember thinking at the time that this was the end of the dynasty.

Well, then by your logic the Cowboys "outplayed" the Steelers in SB 10 and 13 since we lost by a much closer margin than the Steelers did. hell, we even had the lead in SB 10.

When you never have a lead in a game, and you lose by 10 or more points then in no logical way can you ever claim you "outplayed" the team that beat you.

It was 20-17 until late in the 4th quarter and The Cowboy offense had barely done anything the second half. After Larry Brown who earned being mvp in that SB intercepted O'Donnell and Emmitt scored that last TD . I was not relaxed. Maybe you had nerves of steel. Lol

We did not dominate......and In the biggest Cowboy fan of our gloried past that there is....thank god for Neil O'Donnell.

The New England Patriots had zero Lombardi's and we could mock Eagles fans for having no Lombardi's.
I miss the empty trophy case memes we posted on eagles message boards.
I remember Chris Arnold coming on air and telling us to enjoy it. We are living in the good ole days.

Lions and Browns have never been to a SB. 60 years and counting. Jaguars and Texans are only other current franchises without SB appearance's.

There are some longer droughts than Cowboys from a SB win.
Jets , Raiders , Wash

List of franchises without a SB Championship
Det, Minn, AZ, , Atl, Car, Cinn, Tenn/ Hou, Jax, Hou, Buff, Clev,

So a third (11) NFL teams have never won.

Despite Cowboys drought only Steelers and Pats have more wins (6).

And happy belated one year anniversary since we realized a title drought was all in our heads.
