I do hope you plan on eating healthier than our President today; I was watching Faux News this morning at work (hey, that's what some of the guests wanted to watch on the TV in the breakfast area), and on their scrolling marquee on the bottom, they gave the menu for his supper today at the "ranch" in Crawford (why they cared about his menu, I couldn't tell you, I guess it was a slow news day):

Pre-glazed ham... roasted orange/molasses sweet potatos... coconut pie (I assume they mean coconut cream pie)...

My blood sugar went up 30 points just reading that menu... clearly, nobody in his family has diabetes...

Yet...

Just an utterly irrelevant aside for you to ponder as you sit down to eat today... me, I'm headed to a good friend's house for some really good lasagna...

He's also like the healthiest man to ever be president so you can imagine he has room to splurge now and again.

Well I had my mom's chicken parmesan (I doubt I spelled that right). It was awesome. Then we sat down and turned on NFLE to see that they were playing the NFL replay of the Cowboys vs. Eagles game but knowing the outcome, ha, me and my dad said screw this and put in the Colts tape. Whats fun is we comment on it like we do any other game. But anyway, its been a pretty good day.
