Payton, Schula or Hue Jackson.. Doesn't matter, get that scrub Garrett out of here.. I'd even take a look at McVay with the Commanders and that offense, considering they are running similar running schemes and play ball control TOP, with a much more creative passing game than our offense...

Commander assistants?? Really? I'd rather bring back Campo

McVay is creative and comes from the Shanahan tree.. They move the pocket, run plenty of bootlegs, have the WRs and TEs running all sorts of crossing routes and drag formations.. Romo could thrive in it..

And they are also dominating TOP and Cousins is improving..

I am as big of a Romo fan as there is. Unfortunately that window is slammed shut. Years wasted without a coach. Payton wouldn't come now to help an ailing qb win a ring. Its time to get the next guy at qb and maybe at some point a real coach ..jerry willing.

Isn't their offense like #2 right now? I just want a coach that knows how to utilize the weapons he has. Garrett never has. Ever.

I can predict jones boys "fix" for 2016 draft a qb in round 2 or 3, and or get vet QB like kap, RG etc.

The rest who knows, but the jones boys see only that a better bkup qb is needed to go to SB !!

He wasn't OC here, but a QB coach. Parcells was essentially calling the plays.. He was promoted to passing game coordinator in 2005...

Nevertheless my point is? he requires the ability to move without Jerruh holding his hand
and that won't happen..so why even bother talking about this?

Ar least he would not require Jerry to "train" him. If Jerry is holding Garrett's hand it has a lot to do with the OJT he is giving him.

Let's establish the following

* Jerruh is not a coach never has been, never will be

* Jerruh is arrogant and thinks he knows more than he
actually does

* he will do anything to keep his assembled staff and players
on board when and if a outside coach is named HC in Dallas

Jason Garrett - is easily manipulated because he never developed
a coaching voice, Peyton has, but based on the 3 things I've just
mentioned..Peyton will get his hand held in Dallas which is why?
he won't be coming back to Dallas anytime soon

If we can't get Payton, then I would consider Todd Haley. I like how his offense operates and he's a no nonsense coach.

He has too many skins on the wall to get his hand held, that is why Jerry hires these guys that have no other option but to be the Cowboys coach. The one time he hired and established coach (Parcells) he didnt hold his hand.

I agree and I never hinted he did hold Parcells hand in any fashion, all though many
believe Jones ran Parcells out of town by acquiring T.O. however given his age and the
fact he was a short time fix I don't buy that garbage one bit
