I would love to see a report stating "Cowboys fire special teams coach after giving up a 100 yard back breaking ko return in
yesterday's game"..... some of you want to see "Hardy suspended/released/arrested for sideline actions"... none of us are
going to get our wish.

Personally, I don't see the problem... if anything, it should light a fire under the coach and the special teams players...
Special teams should have their best game next week...Should.

I'm curious.

Did you post wanting to see a post about Rod being fired after him and his defense blew an OT game against the Saints when it was the defense that blew a game for us?

Or is it just when it's the special teams that screws us that we want to fire people?

Comparing Greg Hardy and Tom Brady is moronic and you know full well why. Hardy's rep is hot garbage in the eyes of the non-Dallas-homer public. He needed to come here and keep his nose clean in order to keep this signing from being under a constant microscope. He has completely failed to do that in both weeks he has suited up. This crap has to stop.

So the truth comes out. I figured that was the underlying cause of your unhapiness. You don't like him for what you think he "might" have done with his ex, I get that but your post was that getting into an altercation on the sideline is wrong. My view on this is that we really don't know what happend that night he was arrested, the facts are unclear so I reserve judgement on the charater of the man, as a result I have zero problem for him slapping a clipboard out of a crap coach's hand who had shoved him first. And yes, Brady has yelled and screamed at many coaches, so I feel no problems in comparing the two either for the same reasons.

I've played organized sports at a high level.

Its one thing to go after teammates. It's another to get in the face of a coach.

Holy hell, people.

Exactly.

You can get in your team mates faces. You can rant and rave all you want.

You don't go after coaches. Rather it's slapping things out of their hands or getting right in their faces.

I seem to remember Michael Irvin being the most passionate guy our team had during my lifetime and I can't think of one single time that the guy ever went after his coaches. Oh, yeah, because he didn't. There is a difference between passion, and fire, and doing things that are just absolutely stupid.

Well, defense sorely needs a leader. You can't argue the defense has played better with Hardy in the lineup.

I'm just waiting for McClain to piss him off. That will make some good fodder.

oh really.....

Tom Brady has done it on more than one occasion.

You couldn't have picked a worse example to prove your point. Guys can argue and disagree with a coach in the heat of the moment. Brady never swiped at him or knock his playbook pout of his hand. He took his *** chewing while defending himself, even after the coach came back for more. If you think this is the same scenario, you couldn't be more wrong.

And yes, I would love to see a headline today that the Cowboys canned Biascica. He's awful. I'd rather see that than Hardy suspended.

But regardless of how bad Biascica is, there's no reason for a DE to be running into a special teams huddle to get in the face of the coach. It's not passion or a will to win. It's a hot head who can't control himself.

So I take it you were not a Charles Haley fan.

http://www.***BANNED-URL***/sports/...e-and-hall-of-fame-finalist-charles-haley.ece

In 2008, Jeff Pearlman's book - Boys Will Be Boys: The Glory Days and Party Nights of the Dallas Cowboys Dynasty - described how Haley allegedly took a swing at San Francisco head coach George Seifert, urinated on 49ers teammate Tim Harris' BMW and habitually made lewd gestures and comments in the 49ers and Cowboys locker rooms
. Johnson recalls three run-ins with Haley. The biggest was after a 1993 win at Minnesota. Haley arrived late to the locker room as Johnson addressed the team. Johnson cursed and ordered Haley to the front of the huddle. "In an act of defiance, he came 5 inches from my face," Johnson says. "But that was Charles. I accepted that."

Nobody wants a teammate that is constantly doing things like this. And if became an ongoing thing. I'm sure it would be addressed. Actually. I'm sure this incident will be addressed appropriately by the team.
But some of us aren't going to lose our minds over this. Cause we've been around long enough and seen things like this and worse. I'll wait and see if this becomes an ongoing problem before I get bent out of shape.

As I recall from Jimmy's own book he said Haley came up and stood right in his face. But Haley didn't yell at Johnson. He didn't slap anything out of Johnsons hand. He came up to the front of the locker room and stood real close. But he didn't go over board.

You know why? Because he knew Jimmy would have canned him, great player or not.

And you notice that those other things got him ran out of San Fran despite the fact that the guy was a great player who had helped them win 2 Superbowls.

The COACH pushes Greg Hardy and Hardy slapped the clipboard... The COACH put his hands on Hardy...

Are you going to ignore the fact that the coach pushed Hardy back from being in his face screaming, after Hardy had already slapped the clipboard out of his hand? Or is it only okay for Hardy to be physical with someone?

People are trying real hard to spin this like the coach just pushed Hardy, unprovoked, and it led to everything else. The video is pretty clear what led to what.

I don't know him to like or dislike. I have always reserved judgement on the Hardy issue. Check my posts if you like. What is indisputable is that the general public outside of Dallas views Hardy as a domestic abusing scumbag. That is reality. Your opinion, my opinion, it doesn't matter, they view him that way. The people in the media will run with this crap just like they did last week and Hardy does not seem to understand this. If he doesn't get it now, he is not going to get it. Ever. The team is barely hanging on and they do not need the extra BS that this type of ridiculous behavior brings to them. They will have to answer questions about this idiot all week.

Your posting a clip of Tom Brady being confronted by his coach on the sideline and arguing back with the coach does not in any way shape or form resemble Hardy going into the Special Teams huddle, slapping the clipboard out of a coaches' hands and getting physical with him. If you want to defend him, fine, but do better.

JG should have pulled a Mike Singletary Move and sent Hardy to the Locker Room. Problem is Jason "Milk Toast" Garrett is probably scared straight of Hardy. I love Hardy's passion and fire but he needs to worry about the defense before sticking his nose in Special Team Issues.

They're spinning this because we need Hardy for our defense. If this was any other scrub it would be a different tune. It doesn't matter. Hardy's not going anywhere but expect more headaches from this guy. It's just who he is.

"people" are also just making crap out of this for their own needs and feeling better about things. i just don't care at this point. so there was an argument on the sidelines.

given that we were *supposed* to be like 4-2 or better by now...
given that this was finally "our year" to shine
given that we were building on the success of last year
and given how things have gone...

a blow up on the sidelines just isn't that big a deal.

2 games in, he has 8 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 FF. He is tied with Jack Crawford in leading this team in sacks in 2 games!
He's making plays
He was a complete non factor yesterday thats why he needs to shut his mouth.

the only garbage around here is you and your pathological hatred of Hardy.

Hardy is a great pass rusher, but acts like a punk. Knocking down a coaches clip board, being a jerk to the media, with his "no comment, next question" crap. Don't like his antics. Didn't like his domestic violence incident. No class, rather not have him on the team.

Okay is there another video showing the coach shoving Hardy first that started this? Because it sounds like from the people chiming in here that Hardy was just yelling and the Coach pushed him for no reason and they're pissing all over the coach for it.

From this video its obvious that Hardy smacked the clip board out of the coaches hand, then was up in his face and the coach pushed him out of his face.

So all you people saying that "you wouldn't take no smack if someone pushed you like that and just walked away" I'll turn this question to you. If you're the coach and some person slapped something out of your hand and then was up in your face screaming at you are you actually going to try and tell me you'd just be like "Cool man. Whatever. "

lmao.

This is laughable, at best, anyone trying to defend Hardy's actions here. He was out of line, completely, with the coach and there is no way around that.

you got your narrative and will refuse to admit anything else.
