Just remember, sometimes you set up tendencies in certain formations to prepare to break from said tendencies against a future opponent or even in the playoffs.

It's okay to set up some predictability in wins so you can use that to your advantage later to avoid a loss.

And the obvious stacked line and run up the middle crap has gotta stop too......how about a pitch or a qb roll out with a te/fb dragging once and a while.

Is this pretty much a dead giveaway that we're going to run? I can only recall a few times in one or two WR set that Harris was in or that Williams was the only WR that we actually throw.

Looks like we've had 89 such plays -- 14 passes and 75 runs. A lot of them seem to be short-yardage plays with extra tight ends in the game.

Reading my mind. Great point

I have seen numerous games that past few years where teams are near the goal line and the TE hangs out at the line of scrimmage for a few seconds then peels off into the endzone wide open. We need to run that play once in awhile.

You said it better than I did. :)

Seems fairly predictable, but that's just observing from the couch. Is there a reason for this or a cost to it?

Thoughts? Thanks

The only route Harris seems to run is the comeback or hook.

Seriously? We slaughtered the Eagles from the empty set, to the tune of over 10 yards per play. That was a key part of the game plan against the Eagles, primarily to limit their blitzing, and it worked like a charm.

The Eagles secondary blows and I'm glad they exploited it via the empty sets and allowed Dez plenty of one-on-one match-ups Other teams defend it much better. This is one game where once can they adjusted their passing game towards the personnel they were playing against.

I think it's a setup for down the road. Teams will assume with Harris in the game it's going to be a run, then somewhere this year, we're going to throw the ball and break a play wide open. :)

That will happen this year in the superbowl to win our 6th ring
