I think that's really a dumb question. Matt Jones is mostly known for doing blow in a bar parking lot. Teams are scared. It's not like he was a super star that killed dogs or beat his wife, he was just merely a number 2 on a team with a perpetually bad offense in a city that never gets any media coverage anyway.

In all seriousness, teams have never been afraid of players with drug histories. Drug problems are easily swept under the rug. Does it contribute? Sure it does but there is no way in hell that is the sole reason that no one has picked the guy up. There's something more to the story with the guy.
