Has anyone heard anything about Derrick Brooks?

The conversation on nfl station on xm or sirus the guys were talking about if Brooks would be a better fit in Dallas or new orleans. I came in near the end so I'm not sure what it was about. Has the Cowboys been looking at Brooks any info?

I like Brooks and think he could help someone. In fact, I still think he should be a Buccaneer because he's better than anyone else they are trying to replace him with.

But what on earth could he do in a 3-4 defense in Dallas at this stage in his career?
