Has anyone heard this rumor... Ravens trying to trade for Bennett?

20 games played & 58 catches over the last 2 years, with 4 TDs. Don't think so. He used to be a top 5 TE. He hasn't been for at least 2 years.

I live in the Baltimore area and see plenty of Ravens games. I don't believe I said ""If you don't play for the Cowboys you suck", so I have no idea where that came from. Facts are facts. The last 2 years he has been injured and average and far from a top 5 TE.

I don't believe this has any shot of happening, nor do I even think it's actually being discussed. Dallas isn't going to trade Bennett to them for anything short of a ridiculas offer given to them by Baltimore.

I doubt it as well. They need a speedy WR and possibly a corner. Talk has been that Samari Rolle might be on his way out also.

Not a chance. They have Todd Heap and they love the guy.

We have Witten and we love Witten yet we drafted Bennett.

Anyhow, the Cowboys wouldn't part with Bennett unless they were offering a ton. Personally, I'm not sure I would part with Bennett even for a #1 round pick. The guy clearly showed he has real ability last year. In the draft you're not sure what your going to get, and on top of that if it was a really high first round pick, it would be expensive.

I'll keep Bennett unless someone is willing to offer the house for him.

Or every player we let go sucks anyways.

Who ever gets Burnett will be happy.

The Giants will be very pleased with Canty plugging up their middle.

TO is TO. Hate him all you want but he is a baller.

Who ever gets Roy Williams will get a solid SS and for a lot cheaper than what we were paying him (my biggest beef with him all along was his contract with that production).

I disagree.

The fullback position is becoming basically extinct and what I don't think a lot of people realise about Bennett is not only is he a fantastic receiving threat but he is shockingly a very good Blocker and his blocking may be the best part of his game.

His role should increase as far as getting him on the field more but you never know with Jason Garrett.

Im still upset with Garretts excuse for not getting Felix the ball more in the 1st Washington game.

If they give me their 1st rounder or 2nd + 3rd I would think about it.

I love Bennett a lot but if the Ravens were throwing in a #1 in their offer I'd at least have to listen at that point. I like the guy but he is the second to Witten.

Ravens have a late first. Not worth it. The kids got serious talent. Like his run after the catch ability. He's a lot like Antonio Gates skill wise. Only thing is, Gates has already done it.

I doubt it. With TO gone we are in need of good WRs. Bennett can make up for that as a good receiving TE. And also he has loads of talent he can be a beast.

I don't see us trading him not in this stage of his career. Of course if the price is right everything can happen but i think the Ravens have to give up way more then an aging ILB.

The way things work at VR, they would probably send Bennett and throw in Austin for a 6th and switch places in the the 7th. A couple of days later, some on here would be calling a coup for Jerry and how he got one over on Ozzie Newsome.
