Yes I know dumb question. Figured I'd ask this way though since some more specific questions I had asked didnt get any replies.

Couple of questions for anyone that feels like being helpful. :)

1. How early do they open the parking lot?
2. I got some onfield passes for before the game. Anyone ever had these before? If so, do you know where to go, and how it works exactly
3. Anyone know where I can possibly get some stadium tour tickets for the day before? I tried weeks ago and they were sold out.
4. Any tips on what to do on Saturday as we fly in Saturday morning

Thanks everyone, I am taking my family to their first Cowboy Game ever this Sunday! We are HUGE Cowboy fans stuck in the Bay area so this is a dream come true for us

I went to the new stadium in 2010

1)4:30 pm game - if I remember right I got their around 10:30am and it was plenty early for tailgating. Not sure how early they open but hope that helps

2) I didn't have sideline passes cannot answer that one

3) I tried to get online but they had a couple college games being played their on Saturday so stadium tours were not available when I went

4) I went in October and the Texas state fair was going on so I hit that based on some peoples suggestions but that probably will not be available in September

Sorry at least I hope the tailgate helps you

Have fun I had a great time, good football , great people , awesome stadium it was a very memorable trip ! I hope you and your family enjoy as much as my wife and I did

Short answer is,, No !

Although when I was about 12-13 years old ,a personal friend of my father ( he was an old childless oilfield worker ready to retire and dad kept working him on the floor of the drilling rig even though there were strapping nam vets wanting work) took me to a saint Louis CARDINAL baseball game on a SATURDAY!!! man,, the longhaired "rent a date' big chested BABES were already stacked up and waiting for the COWBOYS/CARDINAL game on Sunday!,,, whhaa/SHEESE.

Yes, but it's been SOOOO long ago that any information give to answer your other questions would be completely irrelevant.

Been to a couple dozen games but can't help with any of your questions, unfortunately. I'm not a tailgater, I usually show up to the games and hour before kickoff at most. Haven't done the tour.

1. 5 hours before game time
2. Depending on where ur field pass is will determine which way to go. I've been on the field numerous times and each time was different but each time it's always from the lower bowl. If ur on the cowboys side which is the west end zone ur field pass should have a blue dot.
3 they don't sell out of tours as far as I know and if so do self guided or try the Monday after the game.
4 six flags is down the road and depending when ur here Texas Rangers could be hosting a playoff game

Stadium tour tickets can be bought www.dallascowboys.com. If the VIP toors are sold out you can always buy the self guided tours. You wont have a guile to tell you all the ins and outs but can still go in the locker rooms and on the field.

Take your family to six flags, A rangers game or K1 Speed with are awesome electric go carts. Best to buy your tickets from Groupon. All are very close to the stadium.
