He is what his report says he is a little less than average arm with both strength and accuracy. This can be compensated for by moving around. He'll never be a pure pocket passer. His only and our only hope is basically a version of run and shoot.
He has aways been the epitome of average. In 16 he had the best OL in perhaps a decade and a young, fit RB who set the League alight. Romo would have feasted even with a injury problem. Prescott is what he is an inaccurate passer who since his injury has seemingly lost his mobility. This team will even in this poor NFE will never win a SB with this QB. He will however become a very rich QQ.
It's hard to say If he has peaked, but if he has it's still pretty good. I do believe he can still improve and I hope he does.
Do you REALLY think i didn't know what you were talking about when I cited facts about the 2015 team that he inherited?
Dak definitely improved over the years, but clearly regressed last year too. Big injuries that make you sit a year will do that. I remember when Dak was (correctly) considered to have accuracy problems, and people debated whether one *could* improve accuracy. Dak *did*. Especially deep accuracy. He has improved pocket awareness too. It comes and goes a little, but has gotten better. Better decisiveness too. That usually comes with experience, and it has. Probably the best thing about Dak is that he has shown the work ethic to try to improve in the offseason, and the capability to succeed at it. This year, he'll be better than last year.
Lol see you're a stats guy, none of that has gotten us anything!! Who gives a damn about this, so tired of hearing about his stats, tell me his playoff stats and how he got his team out of bad spots to be relevant in the post season
Yes....you call this...sarcasm?: "Which team? The team that finished 4-12 the year before and had Romo sitting at 5 tds and 7 ints before he got hurt? The team that had the 4th leading rusher in the NFL in 10 games started? Joe Burrow went 2-7-1 his rookie year and the major difference in his second year was adding a great wr. Oh and also another year of seasoning. Which is why what Dak did his rookie year is so amazing." There's nothing sarcastic about that post who do you think you are kidding? You need to talk to furboy or typhus to learn some skills. Or better yet.... stop trying to cover up your BS under the guise of "sarcasm".
Ultimately....yep! People say they are glad Dak replaced tony. So....what has it gotten us? That just shows irrational hate to a really good player. "best on the league" BS? Okay....great where do those awesome QB stats get us? Same place we were before so why the Romo hate? These same people claim it ain;t Dak's fault...but crush Romo for the very same state of things. It';s total bug fug insanity. "romo was always injured " even use disparaging "brokeback" terms.....(remember the homo romo jokes?)....while Dak seems to have an injury bug himself! These same people trot out stats while refusing to dig down on them. If you donl;t do jack sheet for 2-1/2 qtrs...then thro for 300 yards and 80% completion...mean where does that get us? Where has it all gotten us and why are we fighting about it? 'cause we're a bunch of grunting primates not meant for high technology....beats chest.
unfortunately dak is not even good enough to tie joe burrows shoes he's just a middle of the road qb that jerry has made him out more than he is and jerry is the future al davis just sell baby just sell
And yet Burrow has taken his team to the SB in his first full season.....yeah let's rank him behind someone who hasn't even gotten past the first round.....but has great stats since he plays 6 games against Div II teams every year.
Burrow and his team went to the superbowl, 1 full season doesn't shape your career, Rex Grossman led his team to the superbowl too, Nick Foles won a superbowl. But yeah keep focusing on 1 year...lol Burrow could fall off the cliff and you fools will still be crying but but he took his team to the superbowl...lol
Joe Burrow has won three times as many playoff games in just year two of career coming on a horrific knee injury. Sacked the most in the NFL, twice as many times as Dak. Dak sucks get over it.
