Has Holt been Officially Released???

Hey guys, has anybody heard if Holt has been officially released yet???

I heard he had already been released, but I cant find any official confirmation yet. He would be a great substitute for a year or two to replace TO.

Holt or Harrison would be my first pick as replacements that would be affordable.

no he hasn't and I hope Marvin retires. I'd hate to see him go out like Rice did. I dont think his knee/s can take it anymore

Galloway on the other hand still looks pretty good... for his age.

I got a good friend who's a Rams fan and loves Holt but can't wait to get rid of him. He's no longer good enough to play for the Rams what can he possibly do for us.

The fact that people are even talking Holt and Harrison should tell people all they need to know about the hole we have at WR right now :bang2:

Agreed.

Holt isn't what he onces was obviously, but he's certainly better than Crayton and infinitely more experienced than Austin.

Not to mention that if a team really wanted to attack Dallas right now they could make Austin a 'poison pill' offer that Dallas couln't match and give up a 2nd rounder.

Then we'd be left with Roy Williams and Crayton.

They were talking about Holt this morning on NFL Network, where I first saw the TO news, and they were saying that Holt would likely be out of the price range that Dallas will be looking to spend on another WR.

I don't think there is any shot of Holt here.


Marvin isn't the answer cause he's very clearly declined to the point that I don't think he could beat out Crayton or Austin for the #2 and #3 spots on this team.

And Galloway...no. He's older than TO I believe, or right there at his age, and he's coming off a season in which he could never get healthy. He's done.
