Post of the year and sadly true. This isn't McCarthy's team, it's Jerry's. A head coach will never be able to change the culture of a Jerry run Cowboys team.

How can he lose it if he's NEVER had control of it.This team hasn’t had discipline from the onset this season. The turnover differential ( 32nd in league ) with -12 is the core cause for this teams demise despite all of the injuries and personnel changes.
At some point this becomes a HC and coaching staff issue with the turnovers. It’s undisciplined.
I’m not seeing any indication thus far where better coaching is making a difference . First we had the questionable decisions on 4th down. Now, we can’t get out of our own way.
Has McCarthy lost this team?
Why didn’t he have control ? McCarthy was touted with his experience and proven success to be the HC this franchise had been missing .How can he lose it if he's NEVER had control of it.
There's something missing in 2020, the whole dam organization. Why didn’t he have control ? McCarthy was touted with his experience and proven success to be the HC this franchise had been missing .
I’m not sure he ever had it. With Covid he wasn’t able to meet with the team and install any type of culture. This whole thing still has the remaining stench of JG all over it. He was +97 in TO margin in GB and this isn’t like him. It’s like a disease has affected everyone. Injuries. Zeke can’t hold onto the ball. It’s just weird.
Jaylon would have needed a street bike to catch Kyler ..... but he's a generational player .... i can only shake my head and laugh. (yes, i know Kyler makes a lot of people look bad but ya gotta admit it was sad the way he shook the spy)LBers were 4.4 guys.....
I think so....you gotta earn trust...and with all the whacky decisions....I think it got thrown out pretty quickly....and it's something you just don't repair. Jerry better figure this out quickly....it was a bad night in Vegas...get this annulled....and start over. This team hasn’t had discipline from the onset this season. Will Jethro watch it crash and burn this year without taking any action?I think so....you gotta earn trust...and with all the whacky decisions....I think it got thrown out pretty quickly....and it's something you just don't repair. I know who we’d be blaming if this was last year.On one side of the field I watched another young coach on an NFL team work his magic last night and on the other side of the field I watched a FAT OLD MAN standing there trying to look important, with a clipboard in his hand. I watched a FAT OLD MAN stand in the same spot all night long, not once did he wander over to the bench and chew someone's *** out for fumbling too much or missing their blocking assignments play after play after play. I watched a FAT OLD MAN stand there why'll opposing receivers and TE's ran circles around his LBs, CBs, SS and FS and not once did I see him wander over to an assist coach to ask " What the hell are we doing out here?"

JJ made a change in the wrong direction. Should of hired a young gun instead of an old fat *** who played coach with is buddies while he sat out last year's season.I know who we’d be blaming if this was last year.
