Has Zeke lost some of his speed?

I will say the man earns his money and is a stud RB but I cant help but think he was faster in his rookie year. I just dont see zeke breaking alot of those long runs like he did his rookie year.

Yeah, he's definitely lost some explosiveness. Probably put on some mass because he knew the Cowboys were gonna run him into the ground. Not many RBs carry a full load these days.

I dont know about the fast part. He looks like a guy that makes the right cut and then is hard to bring down. Go look at some of the Oline breakdowns of last weeks game. You could drive a truck through those holes.

Zeke is like Emmitt, he was never a homerun runner. but if he gets out there he is hard to run down, just like Emmitt was, but he is not a homerun hitter.

Yeah I think he has. I always remember this play from his rookie season. Dude got tripped up at the LOS but still split the safeties and left them in the dust. This is probably a 20 yd gain today.

He’s got everything including speed.

He’s not as explosive as his rookie year though. Cowboys bulked him up like they do with all their RBs.

He can still break one if he gets some space.

That's because you are comparing a 16 game sample size that included training camp with a 2 game sample size that did not include training camp. Of course you are going to see more from the bigger sample size.
