Have there been any hints of Linehan's job being in jeopardy?

I would think this thread falls into the new coach owner forum, or actually the rant zone for that matter. I don't think it should be in the fan zone though. That's for sure

Would it be possible to get Some clarification on all the different forum zones

A few years back most were complaining that Garrett was too pass happy, so this usually means they are aggressive to get down field. So they finally the to OL in order to get the running game going. as he explained this many times. so they run more than pass, and it worked. So less aggressive.
So now without Romo, or Dez, and Murray the offense is now out dated and predictable....well, ok then...

I do agree it is conservative / predictable, since we don't have the players on offense to run it this year. But what every one was happy with last year, aren't this year, minus key players.
Just something to think about.

Take away Romo's checks and audibles at the line and what's left? The same crappy offensive plan we are seeing this year. It's painfully obvious that its Romo's offense more so than the actual offensive coordinator

We are close to being a Super Bowl contender, no changes necessary.

Marinelli? Personally I like the guy. But his defense just flat out sucks

have to agree all teams have to do is run the ball right up the middle and we are done

his Hayden is not Warren

has no Derrick Brooks or John Lynch

need to be string up the middle

This place is getting overzoned, just my opinion. The roster zone was supposed to go away once the season started

You'll confuse yourself if you think of them as "Zones." Think of them in terms of "mood." If you are posting in a "Happy Mood", go the the Fan Zone. If you're in an "Ornery Mood", "Unhappy Mood" or "Combative Mood," go straight to the Coaches/Front Office Zone. It's kind of like being on Facebook and listing your mood.....this way, we'll all know how your day is going.

I never liked his system in Detroit either. We need a system that protects Tony Romo. We need a system that is more in line with what the Patriots and Steelers are doing. Those systems get the ball out early and removes the need for an offensive line that needs to be near perfect. If we had a system like that Tony Romo could play another 5 years.

It baffles me why some of plays take all day to develop. We have routes for Bryant going straight into the zone and we have to thread the needle to get him the ball. We use him as a glorified decoy to get others open. Thats not what I call sensible play calling. Its madness.

Why not let the offense dictate the game. Move Bryant around before the snap like they did with TO. shorten the routes and snap the ball faster. Part of the reason why our offense is so easy to defend is because the defense are allowed to get into their positions to defend against us. We never catch a defense off guard and they always seem to know whats coming.

Predictability on offense is whats killing this team. The inability to make changes as the game goes along is the downfall of this team. Our losses will keep mounting until we can change our philosophy on offense.

It's all kind of murky with all of the moving parts, but it seems to me that Garrett's offense used to consistently get better in the 2nd half, and Linehan's consistently is getting worse.

Garrett's offense was Romo's offense all along. Without Romo this offense from Garrett's playbook is the armpit from hell.
