I talked to a guy the other day that went to HS in Texarkana and they had to play Tyler at that time and all the LB'ers got hurt from Earl running over them.

My favorite run of Earls is when he head butted and ran over Isiah Robertson. I watched this same video the other day.

Bum was the man too. I was in elementary when he was coaching at our HS. Wade was QB.

I'm not surprised. Earl was a beast from day one. Bum, he was the perfect Coach for that team. Like it all came together to bake the perfect cake.

For 5 years, Earl was the best RB the NFL has ever seen.
right up until eric dickerson hit the scene in 1983... his first four or five years with the rams were unbelievable
