If he is named HC how do ya'll think he will be? Will he hold these players accountable? Will he be another Jerry puppet? Will he stand up to Jerry and do what he thinks is right in spite of Jerry?

I know he's never been a HC and these questions truly can't be answered at this time but does anyone have any insight on how he might lead this team?

I guess the only insight I have is he doesn't seem to hold the offense accountable for stupid penalties and other stupidites, IF the offense is totally under his control right now.

Right now i'm just trying to grasp for any kind of hope of a bright future for this team.

Is Jerry trying to kill any hope the fans have left after 13 yrs with no playoff wins (soon to be 14 yrs). Is he trying to see how demoralized the fans can actually get???

He will get one year because he has a year left on his current contract. He wont be able to hire a real staff and we will have to hire coaches from within who are currently part of the problem. The year will be a complete waste, we will have similar if not a worse performance. He will be fired.

we have a very good O and a good D -- but there is some killer instict lacking.... I like the idea of a young coach who grows with the team, so I think JG is our best option ... honestly, I'd like to see that option starting Monday but unless we are confident in Campo running a 3-4, we aren't going there.

If Garrett becomes the next HC, then that means we can all expect the same old lame play by the Cowboys for the next 3 to 5 years!

That's what i'm hoping for. How lame did Payton's offense look while he was here? Now look at what he's done. But until the HC is the unquestioned leader of the team, even by ownership, and disipline is instilled in the teams performance on a consistant basis and mental and physical toughness is demanded of players then x's and o's won't mean anything.

None of the players on offense really respect him. Many, including the QB, proved that last year, and some of the same players criticised his game-planning/play-calling again this year. Dave Campo has a better shot at succeeding as Head Coach of this team than this pseudo-offensive-coordinating schmuck does.
